Slinky, What you say is corroborated by my creating a new patient and then downloading All data. I observe summary data back through 08/07/07 and detailed data back through 10/04/07, that is, only five (5) days. This surprises me because ResScan offers the option of downloading at the very least the...

ResScan Detailed, but not Summary, Data Missing?
I just tried to load ResScan data onto a notebook computer. Although my new APAP's use commenced on 08/07/07, I'm getting detailed data only from 10/02/07 through 10/08/07. On my desktop computer, I've got detailed data from 08/14/07 through 10/07/07, the day I began a trip away from home. Where is ...

Median Leak = 0 ???
I have a number instances in which ResScan indicates a Median leak rate of zero (0). The 95th Percentile leak rate in these instances varies from 4.8 to 33.6 L/min with Maximum leak rates varying from 16.8 to 74.4 L/min. The foregoing appears to defy the definition of median which represents the mid...

Using APAP as CPAP to Seal Leak
I expect this isn't very original, but I don't recall seeing mention of it here. Although my S8 AutoSet Vantage is setup for APAP, I temporarily changed it to CPAP with a start pressure of 12 and ramp time off. I then set about adjusting the mask placement on my face along with headgear tension unde...

DME "Clinical Specialist" Qualifications?
The prevailing view expressed by participants of this forum is that the representatives of the Durable Medical Equipment providers with whom they've come in contact left them wanting. Such is certainly my experience which even included a bit of fraudulent rather than merely mistaken misrepresentatio...

ResScan Apnea Events Interpretation
A detailed graph with a five minute view depicts at 4:46am 18 apnea events. What does this mean? My understanding which I've got to think is more than seriously flawed is that an apnea event involves at least 10 seconds without breathing. Seventeen (18) events at a minimum of 10 seconds each means 1...

Serial Number of ResMed Data Module
Might anyone have a clue how to determine the serial number of the data module that is typically installed in the back of S8 APAP/CPAP units? Or, if that's too easy, how does one determine the data module's software version?

Does anyone know whether, after mask removal, the extra few seconds a ResMed unit set to SmartStart runs before stopping affects the "leak" measurements?

Which version of ResScan was purchased? The version available at http://www.thecpapshop.com seems to be 31068 whereas the version indicated on ResMed's site appears to be "ResScan Software 31301."
