Trust me, I am not a ResMed (or Respironics) apologist, but I do think it is fair for a manufacturer/company to have standards that protect its brand and its channel. Speaking generally and not about this situation, typical consumers mistake poor representation/support/policies of someone selling a ...

I had the exact same problem, and I ended up just moving my mask about half an inch up towards my nose. It isn't centered, but the extra pressure on the pillows makes them seal better and I didn't lose the seal on the mouth piece. However, I rolled over a few nights ago and the elbow didn't swivel, ...

I think there are few absolutes with things like this where you can say everyone should or shouldn't do the same thing. I take 600mcg of melatonin usually 2-3 times a week, usually on nights when I've been working on something and need a little help shutting my mind down so I can get to sleep. But I...

I've been on Requip since my most recent sleep studies in July turned up PLMD. I'm on 1mg, and can't say that I've noticed any kind of side effects from it.

Wow, lots of UMFF fans here. Goes to show that mask experiences are definitely an individual thing, I could not stand the UMFF. I've got a medium that is sitting in a desk drawer never to be used by me again -lol- I need to get around to donating it to someone who has a need for a FF mask and can't ...

I'm an inch shorter than you, and have gone through the same type of thing and even started at the same weight more or less (I peaked at 238). While I can't tell you what you should weigh, 190-195 at least on the BMI charts would put you at 27-28, which is still "overweight" with elevated risks for ...

I had already been losing weight for a long time because I've been committed to an exercise "program" where I eat lunch at my desk while working then spend an hour out walking. But I've gotten a nice bump in my progress since I got back on track with CPAP in July. I had my latest studies then, and g...

I haven't been to the forum that the guy starting this thread was advertising, but I follow both this one and the ASAA forums daily. I don't see a reason to bad mouth one vs. the other like it is some sort of competition. I mean, I see people on these forums bash the ASAA forums and vice versa on a ...

The UMFF was the last straw on a string of failed masks that caused me to go non-compliant for 4 years -lol- Absolutely horrendous piece of junk - for me anyway Same old story, it either leaked like crazy or had to be so tight that it tore up my face (particularly the bridge of my nose). That all sa...

As others have said, what kind of size are you looking for? I've got masks laying around, but no idea if they'd fit you.

Yeah, since I don't use an auto machine I've never had a problem with my Rev. A Hybrid. While I've been using the Liberty for the last month, the Hybrid worked well for me (main complaint being the flimsy original headgear I've still got for it). Using the original pillows and mouthpiece as well. I ...

Another option would be to just give it an old fashioned airing out after doing the soaking, putting it outside for awhile. If you have a spot that is shaded and gets some breeze going through, it should help.

Will I think you are reading something into this that wasn't said. Nobody told me which mask was better for me. I think you will agree that the Hybrid and Liberty are very similar in design. I intend to try both I would like to start with the one that seems to work for most first. In this thread it...

Ody, IMHO someone who has never seen you in person or talked through a number of issues with you is irresponsible at best in telling you which mask is better or worse for you. Masks are a very individual experience, what works great for me might not work for you at all, and vice versa. As far as Lib...
