Tape!
I've tried several chin straps with no luck. They either are too loose or they don't hold up well at all. I purchased some 2" non-allergenic tape last week and it works great! Simple answer to a hard questions. Only problem is if I have to cough.

Thanks - this is an active board. I have 5700 hours on a Remstar Pro without Cflex so I just not sure if I should be able to sense a difference in the exhale pressure with the new machine. This "new" machine is used and I am trying to determine if it actually works correctly. So far, I can't tell mu...

Remstar Auto questions
I just bought a RemStar Auto (p/n 1017453) and have tried to set it up through the provider menu. It doesn't seem to be varying the pressure like I expected. The options in the setup menu includes one that calls for Afle, CPAP, Cfle and APAP. I'm think I know what they mean but I'm unsure how the ma...

Removable Port Cap
Both my Respironics masks have a "removable port cap" but the manuals do not explain what this port is used for. Any body know?

Smart Card

Wow!
Thanks for the quick replies. The info given concerning setup conforms to what I understand about my cpap, however...........the menu that appears after holding the <> buttons does NOT contain any prompt for Cpap or Cflex. Thats the rub. I actually have a 1005961 model, not a 64, which as someone po...

Remstar Pro & Cflex
I have a Remstar Pro, model 1005961 which is supposed to have Cflex capability. I can get into the setup menu but there is no choice for Cpap or Cflex. Even though this model is discontinued, Remstar clearly states that it has Cflex. Does anybody have any info on this particular unit that may be of ...
