Re: Should I quit with the Cpap?

Thanks for the suggestions. The financial assistance from the state is out. I get too much money. Never mind the fact that I can spend $1000 a month on doctor prescribed medications, thereby dropping my (real) income to $1500 a month and I live alone and have no family so I can't get any financial h...

Should I quit with the Cpap?

Okay, I started using a CPAP about 3 to 4 years ago. I was getting nothing but state 2 sleep. My pressure was set at 4 and i believe I weighed around 235. In 2008 I had to leave work due to disabilities. I now weigh about 205. The first thing I noticed when I got the Cpap is that my night sweats sto...

I'm a type 2 diabetic which is aggrevated by the steroids I take to control the Lupus. Steroids up blood pressure AND blood sugar levels so when I increase my steroids I have to increase my meds. However, I was diagnosed as diabetic long before I went on the steroids. I have diabetes in the family.

Unfortunately I have one cat sleeping at my head, one with breathing problems sleeping at my stomach and one that alternates between my feet and up by the cpap machine. I LOVED the purr-sleep. I loved the smells. I thought it helped me fall asleep.

I'm blessed to have a drawer that really wasn't being used. During the night it gets pulled 3/4 open with the cpap inside and during the day the cpap is unplugged and the drawer is shut so that dust and cat hair don't get on it. works great!

Darn it! I really liked the purr sleep, but I'm worried about the idea of the essential oils harming cats.

Clasic Comfort VS Comfort Gel - size question

Okay, so far the best mask for me has been the clasic comfort BUT I am having problems with it leaking around the eyes. I am trying to figure out if its the fact that it seems almost like its cheaply made and there for the Comfort Gel would be better or if the size is wrong. The reason I wonder abou...

Any oxygen level under 94% should be improved. Mine got to 87% and needed treatment (I have mild apnea). Yours is under 80?? The number of apneas depends on the number of hours. You need the number/hours to determine how severe but if your oxygen level got that low I bet you have 'severe' sleep apne...

Got the the trial offer Monday and used clear on Monday night, I loved it! I had a little bit of mental activity at first and couldn't sleep so I did my usual visualizations only instead of looking at the mountains I was ON them. It was wonderful. Last night I used Peace which was nice but not as go...

I noticed that when I first go to bed I need to use the ramp (I'm on a fairly low pressure) but that when I get up in the middle of the night for the bathroom I don't.

re Esential oils and danger to cats

I did some research on the essential oils danger to cats and found that the about.com article seems to be based on one article by one person on a site called lavendercat. She quotes a vetrinarian who has a lot of "MAY" in his speach (this is why I did more research). It seems that the problem is tha...

Yes, I've had much less trouble than you and I am still going through increased depression. So far the only suggestion the professionals have come up with is the remember to train my thoughts to shape my feelings. ie- to believe that things will get better, to plan ahead and see myself taking the co...

I've been the kid in the first one, only it was a rollar coster instead of a ferris wheel and if the woman is his mother he needs for child services to step in and take her away. 44 years later and I still remember that ride.

I went off the cpap for a night because my nose was so sore. The next day I noticed that I was having breakthru pain again in my knees. Then it hit me, I had had no "breakthru" pain since about 3 days after starting the cpap! I have arthritis and lupus and take pain pills every morning and night and...
