I used the peach last night and slept great and had my lowest AHI ever at 1.4! I didn't think I would like the peach but it was very nice!

I have
I'm not overweight but have gained about 15 pounds over the last 2 years since I noticed my sleep problems. Just too tired to move. I got my CPAP in July and am down 5-7 pounds depending on the week. I am pleased. I haven't changed the way I eat, I just have more energy to do things instead of sitti...

Oh yeah...
I went to the Dr b/c my sleep walking/running was out of control and THEN found I had sleep apnea! Since I got my machine I don't sleep walk much but I take my mask off a lot and sometimes jump up next to the bed. I used to RUN from my bedroom, sit up and search the covers for my kids thinking I had...

How many here are diabetic?
When I went to my Dr to discuss sleep issues I also had some high blood sugar readings to discuss with her. I had gestational diabetes while pregnant with my son and was feeling the same way at the time of the Dr appt. She said that she had just checked my levels in Feb (this was May) and they were ...

Poll: How long is your hose?
That sounds dirty.... I use a 6 foot hose but think I might want an 8. I feel restricted since my bed is tall. I also need to get a insulating tube for my hose as I get rain out. So, tell me.. how long is it?

I was going to post this type of thing too...I was wondering how everyone is doing. I have been struggling a bit. I don't know if it's the drastic change in activity level or what. On one hand I have much more energy during my class... which is good b/c I have 12 three year olds half special educati...

Great night....also- an end to sleep walking?
Hi all! I got my pur sleep yesterday and almost fell down from the smell when I opened the package (one bottle had leaked). So, I was skeptical that I would sleep better with it. But I used it last night (spice) and I had my best night with the CPAP since I got it last month. I don't smell plastic b...

I had been feeling crappy anf sleeping worse and worse since my daughter was born. About 2.5 years. But I thought it was a new baby... then work stress. The last year has been filled with sleep walking/running/ yanking sheets off the bed and other night time drastic movements. I went to the Dr think...

There are guidlines for mild/mod servere.. I believe it's 10-20 is mild 20-30 mod and over 30 severe... not sure about that though. I think it's close.. but I had 33 an hour and my Dr says it's mild/moderate. So her opinion doesn't go with the "scale". My machine is set on 7... I think it just depen...

Whistling mask & squeaking elbow
I have the flex fit 406 mask and have noticed the last week or so that when I exhale it whistles... it's kind of like a drippy faucet in that it's driving me batty. Anyone have an idea how to make it quit? Also the swivel elbow at the front of the mask where the hose connects squeaks when it turns.....

I go back next week
I teach pre-school special ed and am hoping more energy will translate to more patience and quick thinking on my feet as well as more energy in the classroom. My kids start the 27th and next week is training for us. I am a little nervous about the cleaning routine and my morning schedule. I get up a...

I have been doing this
About the same time after starting c-pap as you. I had mine a week before I went on vacation and while on vacation in week 2 started taking it off 1-2 times per night and not remembering it. Last night I made it all night with it on for the first time since the first week and a half. I don't know wh...

Back from vacation...pretty successful
We drove to NY from TX. I did pretty well with the CPAP while traveling. If you remember I got my machine less than a week before we left for vacation. Right before I left I posted about my nose hurting and getting pimples under my nose. After several rounds of acne there it has now cleared up and I...
