NA II, Topaz chinstrap combo

Hi All,

I'm trying to help a friend of mine get his first cpap set up and need to know the link to send him that shows how to use the Topaz mask with the NasalAir II. I searched and searched but could not find it!

Thanks for the help!

Nasalair II Mask

Hi all, I've heard a lot of complaints about the NAII mask regarding it being noisy. After about three weeks with my NAII I have learned that when it is properly seated in the nose, it is very, very quiet. Mine has been noisy ONLY when it was not properly seated or I was using the wrong size nasal p...

Question about rising pressure on APAP?

Hi all! I'm on week two and have been slowly adjusting my low end pressure up. I've worked from 4 to 9.5 where I am now. I've noticed that my average pressure per night has risen from 9 to 12, in relation to my raising my low end pressure. This doesn't make sense to me. It seems like my APAP should ...

Night 5, and this was the best yet.

I've been making some adjustments and last night was the best sleep yet. In previous nights I thought my pressure was a little low as I felt I was having to pull the air in rather than it helping me breath. Started at 4, then 5, then 7 and last night was 9. 9 felt really good. I felt like the moment...

Nasal Prong masks, are there others?

I'm on night 5 with my nasalair II and all in all it's going pretty well. Two nights I had it come off my nose and woke up to it blowing away. Not sure how long it was off either night. My nares are very narrow so I think they prong style maks is going to be best for me. Are there other prong style ...

Dreamstalker, you got it right. My doctor told me that if it wasn't around 100 years ago, I probably shouldn't eat it.

Simple advice but extremely effective...

Forgot to mention, night 2 and questions.

Night two went very well. I put a couple rubber bands on the tubes behind my head on my Nasalair II and it really helped hold things perfectly in place. I may have had it a little tight though as my right nostril is a little sore today. My lead number went down. And my APN/HYP index went from 3 to 2...

Read at your own risk.

It seams like many of you are interested in improving your health so I feel compelled to pass this along. A word of warning though... If this article hits you like it did me, you are probably going to have to change an awful lot about the way you eat. But if you do make these changes, it may be as i...

APN/HYP Index?

Hi all, What is the APN/HYP Index reading I get on my APAP A-Flex? What is the range of readings, low to high? I had my first night with my new machine and I'd say it went great! I breathed comfortably and my wife said I didn't snore AT ALL. That's big for her. I woke up earlier than I wanted to but...

Got my equipment today, went for a test drive.

APAP with A-Flex, Heated Humidifier, and Nasalair II mask. Pretty simple to set up except for the mask but even that was not bad. After hooking it all up, I turned it on, put on my mask and hopped in bed for a test drive. It was so relaxing I almost went to sleep! (and I wasn't trying to). I really ...
