removing a smell, can I spray anything through the machine?
I have a Resmed Airsense 10 machine. We have a camp in the mountains that is closed up all but probably 6 weeks a year. I run a dehumidifier up there all summer but we still get a closed up smell. After returning home I routinely soak my hose and my mask parts is white vinegar and water. I then run ...

RemstarPlus leaky humidifier, any advice?
My RemstarPlus is obviously a few years old. I never turn the humidifier ON, I just keep the tank full because it tends to condense on my face. Recently I have been getting intermittant floods from the humidifier, my lower shelf on my nightstand is just about ruined! It doesn't happen every time, ju...

Re: Is it me or is my only benefit stop snoring?
I guess not knowing what to expect and hearing from the doctors that I "was going to feel like a new person" had kind of dissapointed me when I didn't. I have been using my machine for about 2 years now and I still feel as much like crap as I did before I started. Admitidly, I don't feel like dozing...

Re: Anyone experience a metalic smell from their CPAP?
That sounds like a correct description... I checked to be sure that the humidifier was off and it was. I'm not sure how it could turn itself on, but the humidifier was my first thought too.

Re: Is it me or is my only benefit stop snoring?
I looked into getting a different machine, I called my provider and they refused to change it to something else. I guess the problem is that the insurance company purchased this machine so I own it. I also had two of these fail and they replaced it with the same thing. Recently my insurance changes ...

Anyone experience a metalic smell from their CPAP?
My Respironics Rem Master M machine is probably 2 years old now and it has a heated humidifier. I found that turning the heater on just creates a condening mess, so typically I just fill the humidifier with distilled water and leave the heater off. A couple of weeks ago I was awoken with a strange m...

Where to buy a replacement gel mask and hose?
Thanks to an insurance change, I now have to purchase my own supplies until I satisfy a $750 deductable. That being the case, where can I buy replacement gel masks for my RemStar? Do they come as I got them before, a gel piece, the clear part that touches your face, and a new hose? Since my supplier...

I hope I'm not double posting, it didn;t seem to work the first time. I goofed, it's a RemStar Plus M series with a heated humidifier. As far as mouth breathing, I do not believe that to be the case. My Doctor did discuss other benefits, I guess I'm just disappointed thinking I would see some major ...

My setting is 9, I have no software or would even know what to do with it. My old machine had a card reader in it but when that machine crapped out, I got a referb unit that was exactly the same without the reader. Where would you pull data out of the machine if you had software?? I do know how to g...

I'm not sure what you mean by numbers unless you mean a setting of 9. I am on Diovan HCL blood pressure meds and Allegra. I have been using my machine for a little over a year. I got it because I snored like a banche and my wife was about to kill me in my sleep! I do wake sometimes and have to life ...

Is it me or is my only benefit stop snoring?
Ya know, the Doctor told me that I would awake feeling like Superman, I would lose weight, and my whole life would change..... I don't get it.... I can honestly say that my only benefit is that I no longer snore! Of course this is a BIG THING for my wife, but as for me... I can't sleep without my ma...

Difference between Remstar M and Remstar A-Pap
I friend just got the RemStar A-Pap and his auto ranges, I was wondering if my Remstar M autoranges as well. It does seem that it blows stronger when I first go to bed and when I wake up later in the evening it blows less. His is set up to range from 6-20 and his display shows that it hovers around ...
