Are you currently taking any medications? Have your ever been tested for ADD? Have you been screened for depression? How's your thyroid? Sounds to me like it could be something other than sleep apnea that is causing your problems.

Oz & all who may be able to help, I have tried pressures from the initial setup of 4-20 (terrible!!!) down to 6-10 with various results. When I was able to get into the single digits my pressure settings were 8-12 but I have also had AHI's of 30 plus with that setting. My original sleep study showed...

How to get AHI numbers down?
I know this is probably the million dollar question, BUT, does anybody have any tips on how to get my AHI numbers down? I have been using the Respironics Encore AutoPAP and tracking my results with the Encore Pro and MyEncore software for the past few months and just can't seem to get a handle on wh...

I have also found the APAP extremely helpful in titrating my own pressures. With the help of the Encore software and Derek's MyEncore add-on I have been able to figure out that my best (so far) pressure settings are at 8-12cm H2O. I usually have an AHI between 10-20 but actually had 2 days last week...

I'll do that! Derek's review of the software was very helpful for me as I was trying to figure out all the info that was presented after I was finally able to use my smart card. He is one smart guy! That's awful nice of him to produce that software and give it to us "hose-heads" for free! Thanks aga...

IT WORKED!!! I turned off my anti-virus/firewall protection and put the CD back in and everything worked like a charm. Thanks for the help! Now I just need to get my smart card reader set up and I will be ready to experiment!!! I actually took the day off from work today because I am just so exhaust...

I am still trying to get my newly purchased Encore Pro (shipped promptly from cpap.com, I might add) downloaded to my pc. I get an error message at the end that says "Unable to load MSDE successfully, please contact Respironics". Of course when I call Respironics they won't give any advice because I...
