An old or cheap tripod is an ideal way to suspend your cpap hose. It's infinitely adjustable and you can collapse it during the day or just tuck it under the bed if you don't want to look at it. I just attach the hose to the tripod head with a piece of string and I'm good to go.

CPAP Travel Tip
I park my carry-on suitcase right next to my hotel bed, extend the collapsible handle fully and tie my cpap hose to it with a piece of ribbon I bring along. It's the perfect height and it's always there wherever I go.

Getting the hose properly suspended so that its weight doesn't pull on the mask is essential. Even a little bit of pull can be too much.
