My cpap has a function button called "ramp" that starts the pressure at 4 and slowly raises it to the set pressure amounts. You will hear a lot of talk on this site about numbers. If you have questions call the person or company you got your machine from. They should be able to answer your questions.

It gets better. I am on week 5 . I still try ignoring going to bed. I avoid the bedroom until I am exhausted. Each week it gets better. You get used to the mask, hose, and air pressure. Hang in there. The first week is the worst and each week there after gets easier..

No rain out. The mask gets really loud. I can hear the wind/pressure increase and it wakes me up. It seems to be around 6:30-7am. If I hit the ramp button I can get back to sleep. Waking Up In A Hurricane

here is my problem. I go to sleep with the ramp on and I am out until around 6am when I feel the pressure in my mask . I feel like my nose is in a hurricane. Is this normal? Or am I not breathing and the machine is taking over? I am using a M Series Auto C-FLex apap machine. My mask is Comfortlite2 ...

Frustrated

I am on day 5 and do not want to go to sleep. I just called my provider for a different type of mask. Have you thought of that?
