Interesting system you have there. I'm sure it'd take me awhile to get used to your "system" as CPAP tolerance has been very tough for me.
So because you're hugging the hose, you have no pull or slack that pulls itself out of the bed?

Running hose over blanket from footboard (not headboard)?
For those that don't run your hose over your headboard, but rather from the foot of the bed, what is your setup? I could never get used to the CPAP hose pulling on my face, even with hooks on the wall near my headboard or other hose management devices. I currently use the CPAP Bedside holder from CP...

Re: Distilled water versus boiled tap water
I wonder what the consensus is when you can't find distilled water? For example, when traveling abroad, it can be notoriously difficult to find distilled water. Is it okay to use water that has been filters, such as through a Brita or Pur filter system?

Traveling with CPAP to Europe: tips?
I am headed to Europe 2x in the coming months, and I'm wondering what tips you travel veterans might have? I'll specifically be using a Resmed Airsense 10 with heated humidifier. For example, what can I do if I don't have distilled water for my humidifier? While I won't be sleeping with the CPAP on ...

Mouth guard that won't crowd tongue space?
I apparently brux like crazy at night, and with a new crown, I need to protect my chompers. My only issue is a need a night guard that won't interfere or crowd my tongue, which I believe is a large part of my apneas. Any suggestions for good over the counter night guards that won't crowd tongue spac...

Re: Resmed S9 vs. Airsense 10
My two cents: I had the S9, and now that I have the Airsense 10, my compliance is night and day. The humidification has additional settings versus the S9, and I have found them to make all the difference. When set to auto humidification, I have ZERO rainout, whereas I had it almost every night on th...

Seeking Sleep-Cool, Side-Sleeping pillow for Swift FX
I normally sleep with a latex pillow, as they breathe really well, and help those of us that sleep warm. I've struggled with adjusting to Swift FX, and now I think i'm ready to try and negate the pillow effect. I sleep well on my back, but when I sleep on my side, my face on the pillow is uncomforta...

How to limit condensation when heated humidifier is needed
Mask: Swift FX Resmed S9 Auto with Climateline tubing Padacheek wraps on all tubing I need heated humidification due to inflammation in my nose (which the humidifier takes care of), but I can't get rid of condensation. Even with turning down the Resmed S9 to 60 degrees (I believer the lowest heat se...

Re: Winx by Apnicure - new approach to sleep therapy?
Just FYI, the machine is on sale now for $250 through the end of the year. Apnicure told me it typically retails for around $900, so quite the deal. (Users can return for a full refund within 30 days, as well).
CPAP blows (literally!), so I'm definitely thinking about giving this a go.

Thanks for all the replies; definitely helps to know others struggle with this as well. Now, if I can only figure out how to sleep on my side without my Swift FX driving me crazy!

Routing cpap hose around pillow rather than hose buddy?
I purchased a cpap hose management system, similar to a hose buddy, but the hose either had too much slack (hanging right above my head), or wasn't loose enough and pulled when I slept on my side. The "never perfect" situation led me to just give up and try to route the hose around/near my pillow. I...

Nasal "rawness" from Swift LT pillows: normal? and how long?
Just started using a Swift LT mask, and while the mask is literally amazing, I'm getting some "rawness" and aggravation on the outside of my nostrils. The best analogy I can think of is when it's winter and you're blowing your nose like crazy, and the outside of your nose becomes raw. I'm guessing t...
