Re: Anyone have a breast reduction?
It says "Remstar Pro CFLEX +" and over to the side - now I am not next to it so I am not sure but this was probably on the humidifier "System One".

Re: Anyone have a breast reduction?
Dawn, curious about one thing you said... You said that in the past you started having higher AHIs per your CPAP data and it turned out you needed a lower pressure? Were the events central apneas or obstructive ones (assuming your machine knows)? I had never heard of a higher AHI requiring LOWER pr...

Re: Anyone have a breast reduction?
Hey just wanted to follow-up... Turns out I had a tiny crack in my humidifier reservoir and overnight my water was dripping out very slowly. The crack was so small that even when I filled it up and stood there holding it to see if there was a leak, it took a minute or two to even get a single drip. ...

Re: Anyone have a breast reduction?
Thanks for your responses. I am curious about the mouth breathing - I definitely have always been a mouth-breather to greater and lesser extents and wear a full-face mask. My leak levels according to my machine seem to be in line with where they always have been, but it would certainly make sense th...

Anyone have a breast reduction?
I am looking for some information about breast reduction surgery and sleep apnea... and not finding much about it on the web to my surprise. I am about 4 weeks post-op from my surgery. The doc removed a little over 6 pounds total. I am recovered for the most part and start back to work next week. I ...

Insurance va. DME vs. Me - what do you guys think?
Hi everyone! Hope you all are doing well! I am having a "disagreement" with my DME... I started CPAP on 5-25-07. My insurance rents the machine for 1 month, and then, provided I am compliant, will buy it outright. I realize that many insurance companies require a longer rental period, and my insuran...

That is excellent news! I so happy to learn that they have improved some of the things I thought were problems with the first model. I will look at the user's manual soon and see if I can see if they have fixed the other things. Meanwhile, I am hoping they have a trade-in program so I can get a new ...

In my first few weeks I found that I was tipping my head BACK a little bit with my mask on... I am not sure why I did it, maybe I was unconciously trying to lift the weight on my face up a little higher, I don't know. I was getting some terrible neck pains from that and had no idea what was causing ...

My MSLT revealed idiopathic hypersomnia, and I got put on Provigil. Other than the extreme cost I love it. I thought I was doing really well after my first month on CPAP - I was getting my life back... I even posted here because I didn't think I needed the test! When she prescribed me Provigil I eve...

Anyway, I'm glad I'm not the only one who can sleep for 12+ hours/day. That's what I do on weekends, just sleep. When I got the day off work for July 4th? That's right, I slept all day long. It makes me feel like such a pathetic loser. Oh yeah, I have been there. I am a fairly recent single mom of ...

Well, I personally agree with the idea of insurance checking patient compliance before buying their machine... I am not sure why that is a bad thing? Without checking for compliance, one could get the machine paid for by insurance, sell it, and pocket the proceeds very easily. My insurance requires ...

I am interested in knowing how you knew the pressure was 20 when you had the issue. Did the tech tell you or did you find that out from the report? I am still waiting for my titration report. Well, honestly, my tech told me, and then quickly followed that with the fact that she was not supposed to ...
