Quattro/UMFF sizing compaison?

Hi all,
I currently use a Quatro full face, size medium. I've been toying with the idea of trying a UMFF. Any experience with the sizing on the 2 masks? If I use a Medium on the Quattro should I get a medium UMFF?

I also am a side sleeper and full face mask user. The Quattro has proven to work best for me. I don't necessarily roll around in my sleep but will generally wake up every few hours with mild hip pain requiring me to switch sides. The design contour of the Quattro really is excellent for side sleepin...

[quote="DBoone"]Just started CPAP a week ago with the FlexiFit 405 and I'm having constant leaks. Anyway, I have occasional allergies and congestion and have been thinking about a ff mask for when my sinuses are acting up. My big question is how well do they seal for those with a beard? I've worn a ...

I never could get the F&P 431 to work for me without high leakage. However it was very comfortable. After trying various pillows and nasal masks I've gone back to full face with the quattro which has been a blessing for me. No high leak messages, quite comfortable. Your mileage may vary.

I'm a BIPAP user running at an upper pressure of 15. I personally had a problem with nasal pillows. The direct injection at that pressure gave me nasal congestion to the point where I couldn't breath even with a heated humidifier. Since then I've been prescribed a nasal steroid spray which really do...

Ultimately it doesn't matter who's "responsible". And I disagree with the argument that "we" would vote with our pocketbooks if we knew who did it. Personally I just recently discovered the mask which seems to work best for me without major leaks. (After much trial and error) That's the mask I will ...

When I had my sleep study I asked my tech out of curiosity. It seems at my hospital they were respiratory techs originally. When the sleep center was added they applied for the job. It's a good question though. I don't know if a medical background is required.

Back to the Sleep Lab

I saw my Sleep Doc last night and he's sending me back to the lab. My first trip easily established I suffered severe OSA with frighteningly low drops in O2. The rest of the night I had the Tech pulling her hair out. Leaks, nasal mask giving me a stuffy nose, holding my breath when I was close to fa...

Mirage II Shallow Wide cushion

I have been using a Mirage II nasal mask with pretty good results. Occasionally though I have been experiencing some leaking around the eyes. After some research I decided to try the "shallow" cushion instead of my "large". Not knowing which to get I ordered both the shallow and shallow wide cushion...

I have a 432 and have never tried a 431. I don't believe you can simply put the cushion from a 432 in a 431. While the 432 is a comfortable mask it has been my experience that the cushion insert looses some of it's structural integrity after a month of use. At that time no matter how you adjust the ...
