Enough sleep
It is 4:50 as I write this after waking up to the tight FF mask squeezing my head.....3 1/2 hours sleep. Time to change the mask......I think the pillows with a chin strap gives me better sleep.....not sure why. I did change the settings to 10-17 Aflex=2 Although it was set on 3 previously. The mach...

My titration was found to be 8.....after 2 months the doctor bumped it to 10.....I am seeing 12 as my daily number. I have the A-Flex set as 9-15. the daytime fatigue AND fighting any sleep at the wheel has improve...

Went from CPAP to Auto C-flex to Auto A-Flex and Nasal to pillows to FF Quattro and I still can't get out of bed in the morning. I know about sleep deficit....but this is like paying back F...

At first I tightened it to try a remove every drop or air leak......WRONG.... Then i got the CFLEX and it changed things......now I tighten it top and bottom so that it is secure but no to the point where it is pressing into my head. Also the magic Dial is 3 clicks from touching the head....if I go ...

AFLEX
Thank you very much. I have loosened the Quattro and it is working better.....now that I have a new "data card" the average starts over...so it is easier to view until I get the card reader. Snoredog....I had the Auto Cflex set at 7-12, as per a previous post on this forum.....and although the Sleep...

I knew the DME would see it my way.......hehehehe
Just got back from the BME with my brand new Remstar M Auto with A-Flex. I guess they finally decided that i was going to get my way with them or without them....and there was NO EXTRA CHARGE for the new machine. Now I just need to find the "Sweet Spot" on the settings as the Doctor wants me at 10 b...

7-12
Thanks for the input. Yes the card reader.....I forgot. Slinky, we did set up the auto on 7-12 before the DME ripped it out from under me....when the Dr. change the prescription from 8 to 10....I thought that going from 7-12 to 9-12 would bring up the bottom. I did read the post that you mentioned a...

A funny thing happened on the way to the DME......
Well, thanks to this forum I have learned just enough over the past 2 months to be able to, at least, know what is in my best interest and what is not. After receiving a Plain Jane CPAP exchange on Wednesday and calling the Doctor....I went in on Friday to the DME where they gave me back the Remstar...

Code
Thanks for the Code akcpapguy. Hunter is correct. when I started this adventure after 2 sleep studies I did not know anything....I mean nothing about OSA. Thanks to this forum I know a little something. I had to look up DME at the time....so I was a lamb going to the slaughterhouse. Of course, I sho...

Am I correct that if the billing code is the same the only difference is the profit margin because their net is higher with the better machine...r...

Ijust received a call from my Sleep Doctor/Neurologist and she sent an order to the DME to give me what I want.....C-Flex, A-Flex..she doesn't care...she just wants me to use it. I told the Doctor and the DME that I would pay the difference knowing that the code is the same but I was trying to let t...

CPAP
Thank you Slinky. Actually, I don't care if they wake up or not. They get the machine back tomorrow (too stormy here today to drive there) and I left a message for my Neurologist/Sleep Doctor's assistant. I made an appointment with my Family Practice Doctor for tomorrow at 1:30 and I will bring my f...

CPAP machine
Thank you for your input. I see that I used the machine for 1:06 last night....you cannot read any number like with the Auto. There is no card in the machine so how can we see what the long term is? We know the answer to that question. If I am correct (Politically correct way of saying) then this wi...
