I prefer the F&P Flexi-fit HC431 Full Face Mask. It allows me to sleep on my side with no trouble. It has the slide bars on the front.

I have the same experience... the first breath in the morning is like breathing in a bunch of old stale air out of a cardboard box that has been sitting in the attic a long, long time... kind of chalky, stale, almost synthetic tasting... really weird.

cm (centimeteres) water = air pressure measurement

10 cm H20 is the pressure required to lift a define column of water to a level of ten cm. They could also use PSI (pounds per square inch), mmHg (millimeters of mercury), inches of mercury, etc.

Tish,

Unplug the machine, then hold down the "ramp" button and the "power" button at the same time and plug it back in. That should get you in. Use the power button to go through the menu... and the ramp and heat buttons to select the items.

Atrial Fibrillation and Sleep Apnea

Here are some links to some recent articles about the association of atrial fibrillation and sleep apnea. Medical science is beginning to connect the dots between these two conditions. http://www.nature.com/ncpcardio/journal/v1/n1/full/ncpcardio0027.html http://www.heartinfo.org/ms/news/520060/main....

You may want to see your doctor and get a referal to a neurologist. I am not a medical doctor, but such a drastic change over a short period of time needs looking into. GO SEE YOUR DOCTOR.

F&P FF mask

I use the F&P FF mask and I like it. I have been using it a couple of weeks now and it is better than the nasal mask. I am a terrible mouth breather and it seems to work well at 15 cm pressure and sleeping on my side. Occasionally I get a minor leak or a "squeal" out of it. After a week of fiddling ...
