I have the same experience... the first breath in the morning is like breathing in a bunch of old stale air out of a cardboard box that has been sitting in the attic a long, long time... kind of chalky, stale, almost synthetic tasting... really weird.

Unplug the machine, then hold down the "ramp" button and the "power" button at the same time and plug it back in. That should get you in. Use the power button to go through the menu... and the ramp and heat buttons to select the items.

You may want to see your doctor and get a referal to a neurologist. I am not a medical doctor, but such a drastic change over a short period of time needs looking into. GO SEE YOUR DOCTOR.

From what I gather RLS and PLMD are one in the same. My doc says prefers to use PLMD to call it.

I just got the F&P FlexiFit HC431 FF on friday. So far I like it. Minor leaks at 12cm. Slept better than with Nasal acclaim mask. I am a serous mouth breather.
