Re: Submitting CPAP.com purchases to your Insurance Company

Hello all. It has been a while but I'm back...on CPAP. I also have Aetna. Back several years when I was first diagnosed, I purchased all my gear from here and submitted the claim to Aetna. They paid 80% no questions asked. Even the software (Encore). I just purchased a new setup from here a couple w...

Re: Selling All CPAP Equipment

Sorry, Resperonics, guess I had ResMed on the brain. The machine has less then 1000 hours of use on it. Not sure exactly, but I'll check and update. Thank you, losing that much weight is one of the hardest things I've ever done, took close to 2 years, but the weight was causing many health problems ...

Re: Selling All CPAP Equipment

Well, you knew someone was going to ask ... How did you figure out you didn't need to use CPAP anymore? What made you think you needed it in the first place? I have an APAP, after losing 110 lbs, the machine no longer needed to react to apnea events, almost no snoring. I was titrated at 13 several ...

Selling All CPAP Equipment

Hello all,

It's been a while. After not needing to use my CPAP equipment for over 2 years I have decided to sell it all. My question is, is this still permitted on this board or should I try the auction?

Thanks,

Boomer

Myself, in the last 15 months, I have lost 103 pounds and no longer use my APAP. The last couple of weeks I was using it, with the low end set to 7, it never had to react to an apnea event. (was titrated at 13) I also had a complete physical exam last week and everything was great. BP was 100/60, (f...

I purchased my initial setup, here, from cpap.com. This is included the Remstar Auto, heated humidifier, Activa mask, hose, extra filters, chin strap, card reader and software. Submitted the entire invoice, total of ~$1100, to my insurance. They paid 80% (normal, in-network rate) of the entire invoi...

I set my DVR to record the show when I saw the original post. I have not seen the segment yet, but, if it's not too long, I'll see if I can capture that segment (AVI or MPEG, possibly others) and make it available to those that might be interested in a "replay". I don't think there would be any copy...

Here's a handy link:

http://www.seatguru.com/

On the Continental Boeing 777, looks like all they have is EM power, which is just 15V, for laptops and takes a special adapter.

I have a HR FF mask, size medium, with the sensa-seal. However, I never could get it to seal at the bridge of my nose. I tried to use it 2 or 3 times, never had it on for more than an hour at a time. Paid about $200.00 I don't have the original box but I do have the paperwork that came with it, alon...

Thanks, everyone, for your kind words. I am very pleased with how it turned out. Yes, my roommate and I made it in our workshop. The first real piece of furniture we made in there since the workshop was completed over 2 years ago. As for special orders, we might consider that, but we need to get a f...

BTW, I have an APAP, and have been tweaking the pressure and I have pretty much settled at 5-10. The upper level of 10 does not get all of the apneas (I was titrated at 13), but keeps them at less than 5. I figure it's better to get most of them and hopefully keep the mask on longer, letting a coupl...

The "CPAP Headboard" (long)

Hello all, it's been a while. Just wanted to "poke my head in", and say hey, and maybe yack a bit..... I'm in the process of designing and building a "CPAP Headboard" for my bed. It will have a space specifically designed for the machine which will put the machine lower then the surface of the bed, ...
