Re: Nose Pillows

I hate Nasal Pillows, I think I've tried them all. They hurt my nose and upper lip, they aren't stable, they leak..... After much resistance, I tried the Nasal Aire II (prong) mask and have never looked back. I don't even own a backup mask. I run a free test drive for this mask. PM me if you're int...

A Friend has a intellipap auto that he's not using anymore, and he's offered to let me have it. (i've been using a PB Goodknight 420G for several years). I have a couple questions though. the one time I tried to use this machine, it stayed at 4cm of pressure the whole time. i even tried to hold my b...

Oddly enough

I just got a PB goodknight humidifier in today (THANKS CPAP.COM!), and was suprised to see that they RECOMMEND tap water for the humidifier, but say to soak for 20 min or so with vinigar and water once a week, to avoid mineral build up. Not sure why, but I'm going to follow their instructions, altho...

Have to say, though, the tech at the office was just great. Worked with me for a good hour to sort through the various masks they have and I am now on my FOURTH mask since starting treatment. Tina How are you liking the comfort lite? I have a comfort select, and am overall happy with it, but I deci...

Hi Shaky, I also have a condition called Delayed Sleep Phase Syndrome (DSPS). This is where my natural sleep/wake cycle is later that the rest of the world (2 to 10 am), hence I am a night owl. OK, This was a new one on me, but it describes me. I've always been considered a "night owl". I've always...

Kluemaster: What if your suitcase only gets to the airport on the day after you do? Sorry if I didn't mention it.. I don't check my suitcase.. It's a carry on. I've learned never to trust the baggage handling.. whether it has a medical device or not. Too many meetings in my travel clothes.. again t...

THANK YOU

I'm still going to try to get my cpap into my suitcase if i can, but thank you all very much for these links. I realize they aren't 100% on topic for the post, but this is GREAT info. I'm going to carry a couple copies of the DOT regs with me just in case, and would rather avoid the scene if I can, ...

Re: Newbee to the sleep problem world

Try to look at it as a good thing.. even if the only thing you can imagine good about it is the hubby stopping with the poking! When I finally gave in to my gf and went for the test, I started talking with friends about the issue. I was suprised to find out that I already knew 5 people who used cpap...

Re: Ramp

How can I program the ramp on my 420G Puritan Bennet. Have tried only one night. Thats a question I'd like answered too.. I don't think the ramp time is part of the Rx, but I'm not sure. I do know that the RT set me up with 15 minutes and said rather quickly, "That can be set longer or shorter if y...

One other question for all you PB420 - 425 users

Ok, Seeing this made me not sure I wanted to buy the integrated humidifier, and I was going to order it yesterday. The issue is this though. If I want to keep it small due to my travelling a lot for work, Then I think I am going to just have to deal with the inconveniences of using the integrated hu...

THanks!

Thanks! That's not the largest one we got by a long shot, but it's one of the best pictures! I tried to use a picture of the Marlin, but you couldn't tell what it was by the time it got down to the size requirements of the avatar.
