Re: Just switched from S9 VPAP to Air Sense 10 Autoset for her

Well, my husband's service, but I get the point! I did not understand how an insurance company can not give you what doctors prescribe. That is like saying..."We won't pay for a heart operation, but you can have a hernia operation instead."

Just switched from S9 VPAP to Air Sense 10 Autoset for her

I have not downloaded OSCAR yet, but I will do that today. I started on Cpap in 1998, then went to Bipap, then in 2007, I started using Res-Med's Adapt SV when I started having way too many Central Apneas. I think the high pressure setting were causing the Centrals, but I am not an expert. When the ...

Re: Questions about Ambien and new machines

What are the differences between the 2 brands as far as reports go? I know about noise levels, size, etc. I read that the Res-Med shows central apneas, but couldn't find that info on the Respironics machine.

Re: Mask suggestions for a friend

Has she tried Res-Med's P10 pillows FOR HER or P10 full face mask FOR HER? They are smaller in mask size and in headgear size. I think they have a new N10 For Her. The FOR HER versions made a huge difference to me. The headgear stretch out quickly so keep the 2 plastic clips they provide. Easy to lo...

Questions about Ambien and new machines

Hi all. I started with a CPAP 25+ years ago, then went to a BIPAP. and other machines. All machines were causing a lot of central apneas. I went through all sleep doctors in my state, all pulmanologists. My sleep was getting worse, and a new doctor in Ohio put me on a Res-Med Adapt SV. The one that ...

Re: Who here is on Provigil?

I have taken Dexedrine since 2007. It has worked for me. Since the dme switched my machine, the Dexedrine is no longer working. I think it is because I am not sleeping well at night. I used to take 15 mg, now I take 30 mg and it is not working, The company that makes it had to stop because they only...

Re: Now, I officially hate Apria

I agree. My insurance company told me that Apria is under contract to accept the insurance company's decisions. Like the 90 day time limit. Insurance company said I do not owe anything. Apria says that I do and that they can send the bill to collections. Neither one will talk to the other and I am i...

Re: Who here is on Provigil?

I took Nuvigil 150 mg for one week then 250 mg the next week. The 150 mg did not work at all. The 250 mg worked for two days, then it didn't work. It did make me feel jittery. I haven't tried Prodigal and don't know the differences between the two.

Re: Now, I officially hate Apria

Apria calls me 3 or 4 times per day on my home phone and my cell phone. They want a new credit card number because they screwed up and are trying to charge me full price. They sent in an old sleep study which caused the insurance company to deny the claim. Then they finally sent the correct study in...

Installation problems with Encore Pro and Win 8.1

I am having trouble installing Encore Pro on my Windows 8.1 computer. One time it said SQL server error. Other times it just said error. Is there a trick to install on Windows 8.1? Also I have one of the original Res-Med Adapt SVs. It does not have an SD card. How do I get the info from the ASV to t...

I do not have a pillow mask to trade, but have you tried the mini-me? The same company makes it. It is supposed to be much smaller than the IQ.

Jammin,

Thanks, but I felt so claustrophobic with the Liberty so the Hybrid would be in the same boat!

Not very many masks work with the Adapt SV.

Thanks,
