Thanks for all the advice everyone. I think I am going to give the Headrest a try. I'm also going to order the short hose and modify my CL2 to get rid of the elbow. I am hoping I will then have two good masks. After trying a FFM I have given up on them because of leakage and decided that the nasal s...

Replace Comfortlite 2
My Comfortlite 2 is getting pretty old and needs to be replaced. Anyone like this nasal mask but found one they like even better? I am about to order. I have found two things I don't like about this mask. 1. I have to tape the nasal interface in place or it can come out at night. 2. The headgear cov...

FF mask
I have been using a Comfortlite 2 nasal mask for over six months and taping to deal with mouth leakage. I have a pressure of 18. I am interested in a FF mask to avoid taping. My DME had me try Comfort Select that did not seal at all for me. I was retitrated a few days ago because of deviated septum ...

I talked to my Sleep Doctor about this sort of thing when I had to go off CPAP for a month after having my deviated septum fixed. His take is that it is the long term non-use of CPAP that is the problem. Low oxygen levels over time is the killer. The ENT that did my surgery who I trust completely al...

The recovery was very fast with just about no pain. I did have bleeding a day after the surgery. That was not comfortable with having to change the bandage every few minutes for a bit. It was hard to sleep in a chair for a few days. However, after five days the doctor removed the splints and clots a...

Wow there is a bunch of here in the same boat! I had mine done on Wed. August 8th (about two weeks ago). I had splints and the moustache bandage. I started bleeding a lot a few days after surgery and had to go to the ER to get it to stop. That Sunday I was really frustrated but I visited the surgeon...

Septoplasty and Presure Change
I just had Septoplasty done and it has greatly improved my nose breathing. It is actually amazing to relize that this is how one is supposed to be able to breath! My sleep doc has said it should allow me to lower my pressure for CPAP. What have you all experienced who have had this done? Will a new ...

My doctor also said that an AHI over 30 is labeled severe. Mine was 124. I don't think the label is that important though. The impact varies from person to person. But at that level of 30 or above on average it has a severe impact. Just be glad you got tested and can get treatment. It has helped me ...
