Basically had the same thing happen - I swore to the doc that my study what NOT REPRESENTATIVE of my normal nite. He still didn't believe that I had OSA. I was being worked up for the fatal disease of pulm htn and OSA is the only reversible cause of this so I really wanted to be dx'd with it. So to ...

[quote="chrisp"]Don't overlook the auto units. The extra $ (130 $) is well worth it. If for some reason you don't like it just switch it off and run it in cpap mode. Those straight cpaps work but why take your max pressure if its not needed . It will take some time, a few weeks maybe, to tweak the l...

re: ambien and sleep studies...the first sleep study I had I was devastatingly told that I didn't have sleep apnea and had to look for other causes of my pulm htn...I felt as if I didn't sleep at all that nite - was not at all representative of my normal nite....After lots of tears and my borrowing ...

Why don't you make an appointment with a MD that is a pulmonologist (lung doctor) ....the heart and lungs go hand in hand... I had an echo of my heart "for the fun of it" and fo...

Been shopping machines and and leaning toward the remstar pro but am at a loss when it comes to the mask...I have pretty bad allergies with nasal stuffiness and don't want to become a afrin addict (am also fairly certain that I am a mouth breather)...do I g...
