Re: Mirage Swift Fx
There is no "fixed" strap on the FX like there is on the Opus or Swift... You will have to "rig" it with your own velcro strap or buy "Papcap" or the like... One caveat... the air from the discharge blows very strong and very directional. I find there is no "good" direction unless I crank my head a...

Re: Mirage Swift Fx
I tried out the Swift FX last night and liked it a lot. the flixible headgear makes it fit better and the expanding tubing helps solve tube drag problems. It does not have clips to keep it above the head like the other masks but I liked it. http://www.sleepnation.tv Thanks. A clip is not really nec...

Mirage Swift Fx
The time is arriving that my insurance will allow for a new mask so I am exploring my options. The Mirage Swift Fx looks interresting. Has anyone worn this mask with the hose routed over the head ? How has it worked out for you ? I have used the Mirage Swift II and the Opus 360 this way and it seems...

Re: Tape Question
I have noticed since my pressure has been between 10-11, that I have some mouth leaks. I taped my mouth for the first time last night using Nexcare gentle paper tape, which worked fine, but was a little rough on my skin. What is the best and gentlest tape to use? I find poligrip strips a superior o...

Re: Nasal Aire II Cannula Mod Ideas
Good Morning! The last few days I've been pondering a possible mod to the Nasal Aire II Cannula. So far, in my experience, the hoses last forever. None have "hardened" on me, and I don't have a pet who chews them. Knock on wood. But the cannulas soften up over time, and begin leaking. My little pea...

Re: OK All You Poligrip People. Are You KIDDING ME??
So I'm wondering if I have the wrong product, or the wrong process. The strips I have are 1/8" wide and the thickness of cardboard. Is this what y'all use? Do you just let the ends stick out the sides of your mouth? When some of you say you bend them, what do you mean? I left two of them in that wi...

Re: Please help - need your advice!
Sleep dr's assistant called back to say they could just fax in a prescription for me. She recommended a company called Reliable Medical. I have to do 3-4 weeks with an APAP machine, to figure out what pressure I need. The Rx will be written "machine and mask of patient's choice". I asked if she kne...

Re: Question for Nasal Aire users
HA! I tried going down a size last night and you wouldn't believe how HOMICIDAL I am today after a night of CONSTANT LEAKS!!! I am normally a Large (right now), and went do an MP. Yes dear, I VERIFIED that it was an MP and not an MD. Lately I've even contemplated going up a size to the XL or even t...

I tried the LT - Looking for a trade
Another 6 month aniversary had passed so I was entitled to a new mask. I gave the LT a test drive. After some fiddling finding the right size and fitting I was able to get a seal and it was not too bad. However I do not see it as a replacement for my Nasal Aire II which remains for me the most leakf...

Re: using polident strips - issues
[quote="yardbird"]Ok well one issue really. I just started using the strips. Made a HUGE difference in my numbers. Here's teh problem I seem to be having. I cut a strip in half and moisten them and put each one at the corner of my mouth (one on each side). this leaves a fairly sizeable gap between t...
