I have pretty small nares and have found the Swift nasal pillow to be quieter than the Swift II one. I'm not sure why unless the newer model is wider and so the noise I'm hearing is due to nasal leaks. BTW, I tape my mouth close so that's not an issue. I'm a very sensitive sleeper (especially with r...

I've done a bit of traveling recently and in all of the following airports I have had to take my cpap out of the bag, put it through x-ray (in its own bin), and then it was swabbed. Seattle San Francisco San Jose Los Angeles Long Beach Orange County Dallas Ft. Worth Corpus Christi I think the worst ...

I gave up caffeine on Dec. 31st because it was giving me heartburn, which I was self-treating with Prilosec OTC. But even though I wasn't a huge coffee drinker, I found myself severely fatigued once I gave it up. That led me to see an endocrinologist who discovered I had hypothyroidism, and then whe...

Unfortunately for me the Swift II is not as quiet as the original Swift. I think it's because my nares are so tiny. If only this mask came in petite... I think the Swift II small mask is actually larger than the Swift original small mask, and so because I'm experiencing more leakage with it, this is...

I was given a Swift II mask to try over the weekend and find it to be much louder than the original Swift. Not sure why since it's supposed to be quieter. It might be because I have a small nose and the size Small is larger on the new mask compared to the old. I don't know. I'm feeling a bit discour...

Need Encore Pro Assistance - full details of ZZZ's
I bought Encore Pro version 1.8.49 and have not been able to retrieve details about my sleep each night. So far the only info I've gotten off the card is compliance data. Do I need to adjust any settings on my CPAP - REMstarPRO M Series? Or are there special software options I need to select? Any he...

I’m only a week into my treatment. I have been a lifelong snorer and recently found out that I have an AHI of 40. My initial pressure is also 7.0. I have a very small nose and am using the Swift nasal pillow. At first it was really irritating my nares, but after just 3 days they’re fine. My main iss...

Newbie Needing Advice
MY STORY: I was finally diagnosed with OSA a few weeks ago (40AHI) after experiencing sleep and snoring issues most of my life, even as a small child. But I didn’t realize how extremely fatigued I was until I gave up caffeine on January 1st. I think I’ve been masking my problems for years and just g...
