[quote="Gallandro"]if you feel under the front of the unit you should feel a lip. If you put your fingers under that lip and the thumb of your left hand on the top of the humidifier and kina pull straight up it should lift up. It was tough the first time I did it. There are two prongs underneath it ...

How to remove the Remstar M Series unit from Humidifier???

I've searched the Respironics Web site (http://global.respironics.com/UserGuides/UserGuideMSeriesHtdHumidifier.p df) and searched here, but can't find anything that works. I have an M-series, and am going camping tomorrow w/ one of the battery geek Li-Ion batteries. I want to remove the unit from th...

There shouldn't be any problems running the 32 bit app on a Vista 64 bit box. You might, however, have a problem potentially with the smart card driver. Drivers are the last things that companies change for 64 bit boxes -- e.g., I've been running 64 bit Vista for 2 years at work, and was only last m...

Nasal Pillows made it far worse. Steroid nasal sprays helped a bit, as did an occasional breaK. Really need to learn your body's Signals. Agree on the Quality Control on the Comfort Gels... that's likely why (a) they're reasonably cheap and (b) why mine broke so easily.

thanks GP & RG: The leaks with the new mask are a smidgen higher than they should be, but way better than before, when they were in the 50 l/m range when they should have been half of that. The Gerd approach is interesting. I have previcid and could just take that for 4 days to see if any impact. Le...

Volatile AHI results under treatment

Folks might have seen some earlier posts of mine about mask leaks and then lots of volatility in my recent AHI results. The recent thread is here: http://www.cpaptalk.com/viewtopic.php?t=20058&start=30 Background: Newly dxed and been on the machine for about 6 weeks. Fairly low AHI of 11.5, titrated...

As for the leak graphs, below: http://img354.imageshack.us/img354/7199/leaksvn6.png So, yes, while the leaks went up, the "events" went way up, and I do not havre a clue why. Mask is a week old, was working beautifully, going to work as usual, physical therapy as normal (for back). Only real differe...

Leaks were a lot worse two weeks ago before changing mssks from pillows to nasal mask. A bit higher than I'd like, but still not anything too high. if anything happened, the leaks decreased way in the past few weeks... to the point where i was happy. things seems so much bnetter until a few nights a...

To slightly revive an older post. Well, I downloaded my new week's worth of data, and my AHIs are gack up into the 25+/- events/hr range. I had also gotten a new mask - the comfortgell, which seemed to help quite a bit on the leaks. after yearterday's score in the teens and today's in the 20s, I'm t...
