Re: My new approach - feedback requested
Do I need to do that if I have only been taking the ambien occasionally and usually only a half a pill and it is only the last five days that I've taken them in a row and only one night a whole one?

Re: My new approach - feedback requested
Yes Kaiagram it makes sense because I am a buddhist and meditate (well not much lately as I seem to fall asleep while doing it) and counting breathes is part of a regular mediation that I do. I wasn't counting my breaths so that I would fall asleep. I was counting my breaths so as to be attentive to...

Re: My new approach - feedback requested
I was reading a book for most of it and laying and trying to count my breaths to help fall asleep for the rest.

Re: I'm just so tired
But before starting the cpap I had gotten somewhat of a handle on sleeping issues. I never had trouble going to sleep (until I got on CPAP). It was always just waking several times in the night (not sure if from apnea or night terrors that I had gotten to a minimum) and I had trained myself after wa...

Re: I'm just so tired
I have been having issues with insomnia for last 4 months but been on wellutrin for ten years so I am not sure there is a connection and tbh I am not sure there would be anything I could do cause I can't go off it (if I want to live or keep my job that is). I did have trouble sleeping a bit when I f...

Re: My new approach - feedback requested
Well I didn't take anything to sleep last night and gave myself an hour on the machine from 9:30 to 10:30, but no sleep. So then I gave myself another hour without the machine and no sleep. I then went out to living room and fell asleep at 2:15 in front of tv. I got less than four hours and now I ha...

My new approach - feedback requested
In order not to be so tired that I try to harm myself or lose my job, I've decided a new approach to my cpap. I will go to bed at the same time every night and put it on. I will read and/or try to go to sleep. I will give myself an hour to fall asleep with the machine on. If I do fall asleep, wonder...

Re: I'm just so tired
Again, no offense, but the last two posts are exactly why I don't want suggestions. I have had it on cpap mode at 9 for almost a weeke now. I was able to fall asleep with it yesterday morning with no problem but somehow the night before and last night it felt interoperable. Maybe it is the heat from...

Re: I'm just so tired
But I had been able to easily fall asleep with the mask on the prior last two weeks or so. I understand that it takes time but it has been just about a month now and when I started this I was already significantly sleep deprived. I keep fighting and doing everything I can to make it work but to be h...

Re: I'm just so tired
Here I am again. Sleepy tea, melatonin, ambien, mask on reading my book. I keep falling asleep while reading but each time I put the book down, few minutes later the pillows feeli like they are suffocating me and intolerable. I take them off and lay in bed a while. Figure I don't feel so sensitive n...

Re: I'm just so tired
I was finally able to sleep with CPAP for a few hours. I went back to bed at 10 and slept till 2pm. I hope tonight I can sleep with it. Thanks for all your understanding. It sometimes seems so hopeless.

Re: Anyone selling or loaning FFMs?
Thanks all. I'm just so tired and a different type of mask is the only thing I can think to do.
