Re: pillows vs ff vs pressure
In my observation in the lab a patient that switches to a nasal pillow mask from ffm usually leaves on a lower pressure. As LONG AS THERE IS NO SIGNIFICANT MOUTH LEAK. most techs have difficulty titrating with a ffm because of leaks wear the meal touches the face vs anatomy an then how the face rela...

My grandmother uses a satin pillow case. Bad hair is a problem. I use my papcap now because I am bald. Works wonderful. When I had hair I had to know if I needed to wake up in the afternoon presentable. So, I would alternate with a chin strap. Hope this helps. Lisa

Re: My Mask Blows
Is it coming out the front or where the mask touches your skin? If it is the front, well most masks have a built in leak to flush your exhaled co2. Hope this helps.

Re: Another Curiosity Poll: Referred, Recommended or Researched
Well mine is interesting. I am a sleep tech and I was diagnosed in Jan 2006. I had no one really to ask for guidance, so I found this site and have perused it almost every working night since then. I was the first tech to work full time in this lab and was without a clue about wearing cpap (until I ...

Re: 1st follow up with sleep doctor - disappointing
I just want to share an interesting observation. We just had a patient come in for a psg (sleep study) with his own auto pap. It was very interesting, because I got to observe how the auto pap worked during the study. However, his ahi was still 10 at the end of the study, concluding that the auto pa...

Re: Trouble exhaling with Swift LT
Maybe, since the lt leak rate is so low with the swift lt, your pressure is not comprimised as when you have leaks with the swift 2?

Re: Swift LT leaking
Try looking in the mirror with the pillows on, if the outer pillow is kinked or too large it may kink. I see this in the lab and go down a size.

Re: Use A Swift LT? Free Breeze For Feedback!
I signed up as well. I've never seen a Breeze, but it looks comfortable in the photos. I am ready to give the SWIFT LT a challenge...it is by far my favorite mask. Lisa
