Dreaming
Something I have noticed, especially as I come up on my first anniversaty of APAP... I DREAM.... I always used to dream, but they were disjointed, brief affairs, quickly forgotten. Now I have detailed, complicated, benign (i.e. unstressfull) dreams, and remember them in detail he next day. I presume...

CPAP and Hangovers
As I get older, I , like many, drink far less. Not only for the good of my health, but the fact that it knocks me about far more than when I was twenty one. These days a few glasses of wine can leave me feeling seedy the next day.... until.... I started on CPAP with a humidifier. Has anyone else fou...

Posh bag for CPAP?
Okay, it's a bit posy, but has anyone aquired a slightly more nondescript bag for their CPAP?
Most of my luggage is pretty battered, but the electric blue RESMED case does stick out a bit in an airport lounge.
SURELY some enterprising business has come up with the idea of designer CPAP bags?

Okay... that makes sense. So... I live in the wilds of Western Australia, where, in winter, the power can go out for as long as twelve hours. If this happens at night it makes it rather difficult to go to bed with a mains powered CPAP. I want to get a reasonably large 12V gel cell and keep it charge...

The DC-12 has a Cigarette lighter plug on it... it's INPUT VOLTAGE is 12V, it's output voltage is 12V. It is NOT an inverter. The Resmed S* has TWO sockets on the back. One for 110/240V and one for 12V. Resmed claim that you need to use their DC-12 adapter between a 12V source and the 12V socket. An...

Resmed DC Converter
Does anyone actually KNOW what this does? Resmed start off by saying that it must be used witha 12V DC supply, but justfy it by making all sorts of references to AC inverters.... Anyone Know: 1. What is inside that black box on the DC converter that Resmed sell. 2. What the black box does? I can't s...

Resmed Swift II Parts
I'm almost afraid to ask this, but are spare parts available for resmed masks? I Use the MIrage Swift II and after six months I'm finding that the side hose is getting to be a bit kinked (I can be a violent sleeper). It's probably going to be the first place to fail. I can probably buy a whole new m...

Distilled/Deionized Water
I got into an argument with the sleep technician who was fitting me with a CPAP. Having been told that only distilled water should be used in my humidifier, I pointed out that the distilled water sold in supermarkets in Western Australia is in fact DEIONIZED water, not distilled. He said that deionz...

Even if I download DAILY I have problems... For example: I just placed the rescard in the reader and downloaded the data for last night... nothing is displayed for last night. It's there, I know it, because if I set the preferences to "overwrite", the data for last night appears, but I lose all the ...

Autoscan 5.7 - Missing days
I download data from my Resmed s8 Autoset Spirit every three days or so using rescard and a resmed card reader. But every now and then, a day is missing... no summary data, no night profile, nothing. I have NEVER missed a night on Cpap. Any idea where my data has gone? Anyone else had this problem?
