David, that sucks. The Quattro is working for me, but I am not getting any noise from the elbow. I truly hope you find a mask soon.

Well, I tried to UMFF again last night for a while, and went back to the Q. The cheek is wider on the Q, but the forehead piece on UMFF is way wider than the Q and I found that to be more of a problem. I put on the Q and had it leak free in seconds, and after a couple of minutes I was still fiddling...

.... I also want to try the quatro but I hear that it is wider at the bottom....and I am a side sleeper. .... Yes, it is wide and for me, also a side sleeper, it is a bit annoying. I am going to try my UM again for a while and see what kind of difference there is in my sleep (and my neck, which is ...

I have had the quattro for over a week, and really like it. I got an xs because I have a small face (only xs thing in my wardrobe!). I also like the Ultra Mirage, but I think that the Quattro is better, since it is more adjustable. SO people have had problems with leaks, but my leak rate is normal f...

Well, CRAP! The people at my place are very nice. I think the RT thinks I don't need ot know everything I do, but she is very cool about it. Which is good since i have had too many years of idiots thinking they know more about medical stuff than I do, when they don't (insulin pumper, 23 years). I ca...

I have a Quattro and before that a UMFF. I found that nights I have woken up with a really dry mouth are the ones showing more or larger leaks. Could that be an issue for you? I also turned my humidifier up to 3 from 2. I have heard that using Biotene mouth wash helps, as it is supposed to keep your...

I assumed such things like mask fitting were standard! Now I know why so many people have mask issues. The place that I went to had me try on a bunch of masks, at my pressure, lying down etc. I didn't know I was lucky! I have used the Quattro for about a week, and really like it. My only problem is ...

Thank you both. I was thinking about bumping it to 8. I find the machine and mask pretty quiet, but I sleep in a room with 4 creatures that snore, so a little white noise is welcome. I am very glad I followed the advice here and got an auto (no sleep study available, pressure was set based on oximet...

My encore pro results, comments, suggestions please!

I want to thank all the people here who have made this life transition so much easier!!! I put the report on a web page and would really appreciate any th...

That sucks! I wouldn't mess with glue either. Even tape. That stuff outgasses for ages and you don't want it in you system... Definitely write the seller. It might be buyer beware, but implicit in the listing is the idea that the product is not broken or unusable. It might be an honest mistake too.

Unless I am totally wrong, the machine I have (see below) has a setting to turn light off altogether. I will go check! I am the same and put duct tape over the phone light. The cpap is on a shelf below the bed and light is blocked... Yep, the Remstar auto classic with cflex has a setting so that all...

How do I post my data? Newbie alert!

I have a report from encore pro 1.8 and need some feedback, but can't figure out how to post it. I do have a web page I can put the pdf on, but my brain is not cooperating with the how-to this am.

Help!

Thank you

I suspect we are along way from that now though. There is a huge industry built around the idea that depression is a 'disease' that needs to be treated on its own. Personally I think depression is a symptom and one needs to find the cause when it appears. As a therapist, I agree. The mind body conn...
