I would guess my mask was off centered some, causing a leak. When I moved it a little the air flow returned to normal.

I end up having to use ear plugs as I'm very sensitive to noise. I don't like it but find I can't sleep without them.

I'm pleased to report that the dental tape (thick floss) worked very well in keeping the pillows closer together. This pretty much eliminated the leaks that kept waking me up.
