Thanks for all of the advice. Good news, I plugged it in and it seems to work fine! I have used it for two nights now. I will probably see about getting it checked out/replaced. I'm pretty sure it did get some water in it as the filter was a little wet. Maybe I was lucky this time. Wish they could f...

Humidifier spilled in CPAP!!!
The other night I somehow knocked or pulled my machine off the nightstand. Of course it sucked in some water before I could get it disconnected. I immediately drained the machine and have left it sitting for 4 or 5 days now. Haven't been able to shake any water out for a couple of days. What do you...

[quote="JohnMudie"] ...My Swift and Comfort Classic ( see posts at beginning of thread) are taking up valuable space in my apartment so I am now willing to give them away for the price of shipping and handling. (And if you send me a box with about $10 worth of stamps on it, I won't even charge handl...

Pulse oximetry isn't always the answer. My wife has suspected I had OSA for over 5 years; I often woke at night gasping for breath, snored, etc. My old Dr. did the overnight oximetry and said there was no problem. Fast forward (five years) to about a month ago with my first sleep test. AHI=26 and O2...

Don't know yet. I am switching to a machine that will be software capable soon so I can monitor it. My current machine doesn't show that. The only leakage I have noticed is occasional around the "simple pillow" and it usually wakes me and I fix it. Think I have finally got it adjusted so I don't hav...

Started Drooling with CPAP. Why?
I have been on CPAP for about three weeks now. About the last week I have woke up in the morning with a bit of drool on the side of my face. When I was younger I used to drool all the time when I was sleeping but haven't done that in years. Any hypotheses on why this might be happening? I'm fairly s...

I would also suggest using the ramp feature; you might set it for at least 20-30 minutes. I have been on CPAP for a week now and find the ramp is great for going to sleep. I am used to it enough that if I wake in the middle of the night (bathroom break or otherwise) and need to take my mask off I do...

Your interface should have come with a couple of different sizes. Call your DME back and get resized. I have the CL@ and have been happy with it so far. ON thing I found is don't overtighten the straps (if you have marks on your forehead, it is probably too tight.) I have also found that to eliminat...
