Re: CPAP Machine with 1-night stats?
Thanks. I knew about getting into setup mode to change the settings, but not to reset the data. I'll try that, hopefully it'll do what I need.

Re: CPAP Machine with 1-night stats?
Thanks. I'd prefer to just hit a button on the machine, instead of taking out the card, taking it to where the computer is, inserting the card, loading the software, remembering to put it back in the machine, etc. All I need is the same data it provides in the display now, but not as a 7 or 30 day a...

CPAP Machine with 1-night stats?
I have been using a Respironics M Series Auto CPAP machine for some time now. I find it annoying that the display shows only a 7 seven night or 30 night average for pressure, AHI, leak, etc. I'd really like to know just how last night went. I know that you can get that from the card, but I don't hav...

Re: Tips for Air Travel with CPAP
1) Carry on - get a messenger bag. When flying domestically, I try not to check bags and take everything as carry-on. That was easier in my pre-CPAP days, when I had just a laptop bag and a roll-aboard suitcase. The first time I traveled with a 3rd bag for the CPAP, the screeners would stop me and ...

Tips for Air Travel with CPAP
've been a CPAP user for about 3 months and am a frequent traveler. This forum has been a HUGE help so far, and I wanted to share some additional tips from my travels with the machine. So far, I have flown from New York to Hong Kong, San Francisco and Raleigh/Durham with my CPAP. Here are my tips: 1...

When I was initially diagnosed I was 45 pounds overweight and was diagnosed with "severe" OSA. I lost 50 pounds over six months (yes, healthy eating, no alcohol and exercise) but wasn't sleeping any better so I went for another sleep study. The good news is that losing the weight lowered my the seve...

New User - Optilife Exhalation Question
Hi, all. Last night was my first night ever on CPAP. I'm starting with the Optilife nasal pillow mask. I was awake a bit but did get some sleep, so I'm optimistic. I have one question - is there supposed to be a constant stream of air coming from the exhalation port? Or should I only feel something ...
