Lineman,
Explain to your insurance company that your mask works well and see if they will cover the cost up to the amount they would pay for another mask. They might do that and it's a reasonable request.
Good luck!

PMs on cpap.com
I have used the option to PM folks. I noticed that my last four PMs are in my outbox and not in my sent box, which would explain why I'm not getting a response. I wrote to the cpap.com admin, but don't have an answer to my question yet. I was wondering if anyone could "enlighten" me. I am clicking o...

Pillow for Mild Sleep Apnea
Brookstone has a pillow for mild sleep apnea. I think it's rather new. I would appreciate the reviews from anyone that might have used it.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Pain
Many people need to see a chiropractor while they adjust to CPAP. You might want to consider it.

Feeling like crap
I've been on CPAP for a couple of months. At the beginning I would wake up and try to leave my mask on as long as I could tolerate it. For awhile I took it off the last hour or two. I used Ambien a little bit at the beginning to help me sleep while I adjusted to wearing the mask. I try really hard t...

Anxiety and OSA
I had anxiety issues prior to being diagnosed with sleep apnea. When I started to use CPAP it kept getting better. I've been on CPAP for a couple months now, and I haven't had any issues lately. I think it might be gone. In my case it seems the apnea was the cause of the anxiety.

elazarus, I've been on CPAP about 2 months now, and I'm still tired. The doctor said that our bodies can have some changes due to apnea, our sleep cycles being one of those. I have a medical condition that might be contributing to my fatigue. It is my belief that there are those that recover quickly...

I’ve been on CPAP about the same amount of time as you, and I’m still tired. I have a ComfortLite2 and use the nasal mask. At first I had some problems with the mask leaking, but now that I’m getting use to adjusting it, etc…I think it’s fine. My GP tells me that some things in your body can change ...

Sore jaw and body
I have been on CPAP for about six weeks now. My jaw also hurts and before starting CPAP treatment I had some real bad days. It has improved, but still mildly sore. My ankle and feet are sore after sitting or getting out of bed in the morning. At first it's difficult to walk, but it goes away. Before...
