Dunno if it would work or not, but I like OCO's pic and other comments got a chuckle or two out of me. My first thought was hmmm an easy or cheaper way to get a sleep study to figure out if I'm getting deep sleep or not???? If it worked, I'd be one of the first in line to get one! Keep checking back...

Hi Jim, I'm using a range of 9.0 to 9.5 to keep it from ramping up too much with the snores. I would have set it at straight 9 since that's where I got my best numbers from, but then it doesn't calculate any of the rest of the data . I'm seriously thinking of giving up and getting a nasal mask even ...

So far (knock on wood) v1.6 hasn't dropped any days on me. And I do have an M series auto. I thought I was getting 1.8 but for a lousy savings of $5 ordered it from cpap-supply.com and got 1.6 It was on "sale" there for 90. cpap.com had it for 95. So much for saving a couple bucks. I can't believe w...

Less Leaks Higher AHI???
OK, I tightened down the mask and have the leaks under control. But my AHI went from 2 something to 4 something. I've felt I slept well the last few nights and I know under 5 is great, but I really want lower numbers. I'm going to keep it at the pressure settings for a few more days (9-9.5) since it...

Excessive "Gas"???
Can CPAP cause excessive gas . There have been a couple days in the last week where I was dyin' of gas pains. Could this have been caused by excessive air being swallowed? I tried a GasX tab the other day but didn't help much

Smartcard seems "touchy"
I try to handle my smartcard delicately, yet every once in a while (and I've only had the darn thing a little over 3 weeks) it gives me errors registering. I take it out of the machine or reader and reseat it and it works. But this makes me worried about how many read/write cycles are in a card... I...

We are not supposed to be hanging our hoses in the bathroom, that's a no no. Marie, that's exactly what my RT told me to do - hang it over the shower curtain rod to dry. Why is it a no no??? Linda P.S. Unfortunately in a discussion board we are unable to see or hear the nuances of what people are s...

Forgot to put my SmartCard in Last Night
OK - call me dumb. I forgot to put in my smartcard last night and went to read the data off this morning (since it seemed like a good night) and saw the card was still in the reader I guess the machine records/reads the data off the card to control the APAP as well since there was no info on AHI/Lea...

Sigh... So the only thing I can think to blame might be the Melatonin. It is sometimes used to ameliorate the effects of benzodiazepam down-titration and guess what Klonopin is. Linda You need to STOP taking the melatonin. You cannot take Klonopin and melatonin at the same time. You also cannot sud...
