Can anyone tell me if the infineer card reader works (reliably; for everyone) under win7?

I have a Auto-M machine and I was able to read data into Encore Pro but now the card won't initialize or write a new prescription. Utility didn't work.

when I tell it to format, it says format starting and then never does anything.

Anyone have any ideas?

It looks like the card simply stopped working -- can't write a prescription or initialize or erase from within Encore.

I'm hoping a reformat fixes it.
