Den, !! I've worked with almost ALL men my whole career. My personal observation is that men like to SAY they don't understand women. Keeps them out of trouble. Gives them a bond. Lets them laugh at us when they think we can't tell that's what they're doing. That's what I love about you guys - you'r...

Almost every question that I have had, has been asked with a multitude of responses ranging from experience to documentation, with the occasional, this is my thought or this is what I was told. While that's true, don't be afraid to post your own questions. You'd be amazed at the discoveries made du...

What Dreamstalker said. Good for you! It's important to let your settings settle for a while, so you might want to stop tweaking after this next change for a week or so. Then see how a weeks worth of data looks. Personally, my data varies throughout the week - my sleep quality decreases during the w...

Babs, You crack me up, as always. It's just so unfair. All those mmmmmmmany cycles to bring a ffffffffew babies to life. Very inefficient, if you ask me. If you don't want men to read a post, you should title it "A list of things men should do to help around the house". Even the most helpful men wil...

Welcome to the forum, Busa! Good for you getting yourself off to a good start. Sleeping upright can sometimes help the throat to stay open - gravity isn't forcing the tongue to the back of the throat and closing off the airway. But using the CPAP is the best way to get your oxygen while you sleep! Y...

Hi again, JZ and Carbonman, While I read the DIY Mouthguard that Rested Gal referred to, I didn't go to all that trouble. I found that if I wore a boil-n-bite on my top teeth, it forced my tongue back just far enough that a seal formed between my tongue and the mouthguard, so that I could even have ...

I gotta tell you -SWS-, I was really baffled by your last post no this thread, and agree completely with Ozij. "We" on the forum, with rare exception, follow the tenet "first cause no harm". "We" don't have a common set of rules, boundaries, or philosophies that "we" use to determine how and when to...

Hi, Compass, Wow, you've been at it for quite a while, haven't you? I admire the fact that you haven't given up. There's many ways to stop mouth breathing, in addition to using a full face mask. You can glue your lips shut (Polygrip strips), tape them shut, or use a mouth guard. Check under the yell...

Come to think of it, my partner's taken to snoring loudly at night. Of course he has "no problems". He also has a deviated septum and is constantly congested "but that's normal" .. Rolling Eyes Hi Echo, I just caught up on this post, and I'm glad to see you've gotten great feedback from the others....

Carbonman, I, too, owe my sincerest thanks for all the help I've gotten from this great group. That's why I keep coming back - I keep learning new things all the time. I'm so glad that you're improving as time goes on. I hope it continues. Have a great weekend, catch some extra zzzzzzzzzzzzzz's if y...

Good for you, feeling_better. Thanks for sharing your solution to rainout. My solution is to double insulate the whole hose, all the way past where it splits in two for the pillows. I have a hole cut out for the exhaust, which I sometimes have to reposition because it gets noisy if air hits the flee...

Den's right, Marty. The pressure dies not have anything to do with the number of events you have. It's just the pressure needed to prop your throat open. Is it possible that your mask is leaking, so that there's not enough air to keep your throat open at 10cm? I have a different machine than you do,...

Crossfit, Yea for you! I agree with the others - raise the lower pressure to something closer to your average, like 9. Hang your hose above your head, that way 1/2 of your rainout will run back into the humidifier and not into your face. Also, if you cover your hose with fleece it will significantly...
