Want larger mask-wider
I started CPAP two years ago with a ResMed Ultra Mirage mask. I needed something to go under my chin so switched to Fisher and Paykel Flexifit 431. I'm reasonably happy with it, but I want something larger, and wider. This thing interferes with the way I like to wear my mustache. Someone from Nation...

Humidifier
Am I the only one using CPAP that has no humidifier? My doctor, also a CPAP user didn't prescribe it. I thing i am not having problems but wonder if a humidifier adds to the comfort of the treatment. I might add that I sleep in a room that sometimes is below freezing. I kind of dread my first summer...

This site has been invaluable to me. I am a newcomer and most of the posters seem to be. I suspect that when I have had all my questions answered I won't come here as often. The basic questions and the answers posted by those it the know will be pretty much the same and essential to those just getti...

I am only into my Fisher 431 for 5 days (after 3 months in the ResMed Ultra Mirage) but I am sold. With the old mask it seemed that I slept only until I woke, then the noise of escaping air would not let me go back to sleep. The 431 has a better seal and tho I am a bed thrasher I wake up and lay the...

I will not knock prednisone for its benefit physically, however, I found that I said things that made perfect sense to me, at the time, and didn't seem inflammatory at all. These same things were very unsettling to my ex-wife. Yes she divorced me. I said things like, 'I really don't know if I love y...

Trouble with leakage around eyes
I have been using CPAP for three months. I use a Ultra Mirage Full Face Mask by ResMed. My problem is the slight leakage (usually toward morning) close to my eyes.
Are there masks that cover both nose and mouth but fit lower so as not to leak on the eyes?
