I was lucky enough to receive such a trial many months ago, but then 'dissapeared' from here because life became much too busy for various reasons. It may be late in coming, but I'd still like to offer my assessment. While I did not enjoy all of the oils I have tried, I found that the scented oils I...

I have the same headgear, and the same problem. The other night I woke up at 4am and found it laying on my bedside table blowing air into nothing. I'm not sure if it's falling off or if I'm taking it off. Also. while I've solved the apnea riddle, I've noticed I'm now having a lot of night-time anxie...

Re: vista

My 1.8 works fine with vista. I am having a bit of a problem adapting to vista. Lots I have not learned. I DO NOT like it that MS did not include their games package- MS HEARTS, SOLITAIRE, SPIDER SOLITAIRE, cannot figure how to get them - cannot find them as download. 1.8 works fine for me in vista...

A good DME company should contact you within 48 hours of you receive your CPAP machine, 2 weeks after that, 1 month after that and then every 3 months thereafter. This is why the cost is what it is. Insurance carriers expect them to follow-up with their patients and make sure they are compliant. If...

Re: CAPS

I wonder when the concept of ALL CAPS being considered a SHOUTING began and who thought it was. I find all caps are easier to read and have never had a problem with them. It is understandable when a person uses all caps for EMPHASIS. Some people seem to get excited about a person who occasionally m...

excellent update, and good show from your sleep lab!

As far as doing just the pre-mask, or another full night, I'd make sure your insurance is involved in that decision. The unfortunate fact is, you have to make sure they are happy before you're allowed your health.

This is why insurance needs less control over our health care decisions. Time and time again, people have to fight with everything they have just to get approval for something simple, because they try and pull out the technicalities to get out of paying anything. I agree with the above that you shou...

I just got back from a trip to vegas with my CPAP, you also want to allow extra time for the security check, because they WILL pull you aside and test the machine for chemical traces. (bomb residue check) How much time you need for this really depends on how busy you expect the airport to be. It too...
