my order of mask trials for you based on actually trying them and working with patient would be:

Fisher paykel 431 or 432
Then Mojo
then Hans rudolph

The mojo is definatley soft but find it leaks because it is so soft. Often you have to overtighten the straps to compensate.

I would not tape your mouth ever. It always runs the risk or aspiration.

If you are using a full face mask It does not matter if you breathe through your nose or mouth.

Make sure it fits good and is comfortable and you will be good to go

the breeze is good for side sleepers. only issure is that they will break pretty easily

Optilife seems to work pretty good. Jury still out on the opus.

Swift pillow may be an option but you generally have to sleep on one side or the other
