Eventually you will learn to adjust it during the night so it works, but it takes a while not to panic...did me anyway. Just hang in there and consider every nite you stay on it a success. It's not perfect, but it works most of the time. good luck..bob

Yep, I've been on it about a year and a half. Went on a trip last month, packed my machine, hose mask, etc. Got to my destination, opened my suitcase started hauling stuff out. I use an Ultra FF mask. First thing I hauled out was a strap or harness for an Ultra Mirage. Just about panicked. Then I du...

Thanks Jazzy....that's really good to know. Guess I'm gonna fork out the dough also. I used to snatch my mask off, now I seem to have gotten past the point of panic, and I just unclip it...problem is sometimes I enjoy "no mask" so much I sleep for a couple of hrs without it. I try not to do it if po...

thanks for the feedback. yeah, some DME's, not all, are quick sometimes to sell you something else. This forum saves some folks a lot of trouble.

That's what I'm gonna do from now on! When I say take it apart, I just mean taking off the hard liner, then the silicone, nothing else. But no more!

Thanks for the replies..sorry for some reason my info disappeared, but I have it back on now. I'm going to readjust the straps tonight...I haven't cleaned it in about 10 days or so, maybe two weeks..other than swishing it liquid soap then rinsing. I took it apart last night and cleaned it good. I'll...

Ultra Mirage FF leaking all of a sudden

I've been using this thing for about a month...doing okay, small leaks, but then last night it went wild. Now I haven't taken it apart in a week to 10 days, could that affect that silicone thingey? It doesn't seem to want to seal. Think I'll ask CPAP about it. tks for any info from folks who know. B...

My Ultra mirage FF was doing pretty good for about a month, then last night it started leaking everywhere. That silicone thingey doesn't seem to snap and pop onto my face like it did. Had to use my Hybrid last night.

Snoredog, I liked your review and am looking forward to more, as you dissect this machine. By the way, what is the exact model description to use if I wanted to buy one? I have a prescription for a PB420E and I'm hoping this prescription can be used to buy this machine you have. tks..bob

this is my 4th mask. Tried the optilite, the comfortgel nasal, the Hybrid, and now the Ultra Mirage full face. I have determined that I cannot abide anything up my nose because I have congestion many nights. So I bought the Mirage....am having leaks at the top and the bottom. If I shut the leaks off...

Dream, that is the worst one I've had in a long time. It must have been all instinct when I stopped breathing and something was on my face. I went home today at lunch and checked the mask, both nasal pillows were pulled out of the hole right at one corner...not all the way, but enough for a good lea...

report on Hy-U Fullface first night

I may have blown $200..a little time will tell. I should have read the review on this mask at the top of the page. I also have an overbite but my chin is average and my nose is fairly broad. I could not eliminate the leaks...leaks with this mask are easy to hear because of the rushing air. My cpap m...
