Re: Sats drop but no apnea during sleep study?

The tech told her she had no apneas, but of course someone else will read the study and she will have a follow up appt with doc who will hopefully (haha I almost said doubtless, where was my head???) e...

Sats drop but no apnea during sleep study?

Hey here's a weird scenario: my daughter's home care nurse just had a sleep study last night. She had been dx'd with apnea years before, but doc wanted a new study because she was having Way more daytime sleepyness and had a wreck from falling asleep driving. Anyway during the sleep study last night...

Re: Swift LT for Her

just ordered one from dme, actually she suggested it, because I was complaining that Opus's head gear just doesn't fit my head. she said LT for Her has smaller headgear. I really hope it is or at least can be adjusted a lot because getting headgear to fit is one of my biggest problems with masks/pil...

Re: Poll - Who must have TOTAL darkness to sleep?

...neither of the choices exactly fit me. But I picked the light, because I CANNOT stand full darkness, I am talking total freakout. I am not afraid of the dark, like night outside when you can still see a little, but I cannot stand total dark, I get horrible claustrophobic, and panic. weird huh?

Re: Welcome To The New CPAPtalk.com! Post Bugs/Questions Here.

Hey I just thought of it, but I need a button for SHOPPING. I mean do I really have to go to all the trouble of typing in https://www.cpap.com ????? ...and being as farsighted as I am, the button is probably right there in front of me, but I just can't see it. Monitor distance is just too far to us...

Re: Welcome To The New CPAPtalk.com! Post Bugs/Questions Here.

whoa, you take a computer break for a little while and everything changes!!!! looks pretty. I agree with others who said the edit button is gone. I will miss it, I usually find myself correcting myself at least once a post. I know i should be more careful, but it always happens that it sounds fine i...

I have been using ambien every night for a long time. I used it at my last sleep study and it did not interfere at all. If for any reason I can't use hose I don't take it. Apparently I am one of the lucky ones because I can always fall asleep without it, posssibly because even with pap and ambien I ...

I like my DME. Its are my dd's as well, and it may be that they are nice to me because she has such big ticket rentals and will have for the forseeable future. Its a multistate company, but it is friendly and uses local offices so we actually get to talk to the same people all the time and keep the ...
