Re: TapPap hose fix, you might try it.

RogerSC, thanks for the information, my next project will be setting up a hose hanger for the tap pap, but I will continue to use the chin strap and loop for those times when I can't use the hose tender...when traveling and visiting friends.

Regards,
Dan

Re: TapPap hose fix, you might try it.

newsnore, your almost right. The first time I tried the mask I felt the mask tube was too stiff. I tried it both ways, with and without the chin strap. Then I thought about my swift fx hose and how flexible it is...wouldn't it be nice if it had the same type hose. while cleaning the tap pap the hose...

Re: TapPap hose fix, you might try it.

Up date, using the swift fx hose worked great. No pressure was transmitted to the mouthpiece, while turning from side to side. I didn't wake once, slept 7 hours and 50 minutes . AHI of 2.0. DarryIM, try using a rubber band at the top of the head gear. Loop it under the top of the head gear, twist it...

TapPap hose fix, you might try it.

I am using the tap-pap nasal pillows mask and so far it is working out well for me, except for the hose being too stiff. I have solved that problem for me and maybe those using this mask also find the hose a little too stiff. To make a long story short. I was able to use the flexible hose from a Swi...

Re: Mouth taping

I also use the 2" wide paper tape and also found that 3M's 1 1/2" water proof tape works just as well, the adhesive is a little less aggressive and makes for easy removal. It is a little thicker and has a cushion effect, which makes it a great bridge of the nose protector when wearing a nasal full f...

Re: Optilife Nasal Pillows Mask Shower Nightly

In the winter I sleep with the hose and all my mask under the covers, but I usually set my HH no higher than 1 and it can get pretty worm...have to poke my head out once in a while to cool off. I have never experienced rain out, yet. If you are having trouble with the chin strap, try finding a neck ...

Re: My first night with FullLife

The side movement seems to be the reason a lot of us have a sore nose, using tape or moleskin has solved that problem for a lot of us. Thanks for the report, let us know how it works for you in the long run. I find it to be a great FF mask, better than most that I have tried in the past, good luck. ...

Re: I got a new mask today....FullLife

Dreamer, good luck with the FullLife, but take care to protect the bridge of your nose. This mask, if you haven't found out already, can really make your nose sore without some from of protection. Tape or Moe skin are just two ways you can try, if needed .

Re: I got a new mask today....FullLife

I'm thinking of giving the FullLife another go this weekend. I'm going to try the routing suggestion from sleepngo to route the neck strap on the inside of the chin strap. That, and I'm going to watch the fitting videos again. tattooyu, need to suggest that when routing the neck strap inside the ch...

Re: Trying To Get AHI to Reasonable Level on BiPap Auto

Mike, your Ipap looks good, it's taking care of the HI's, you need to bring up the Epap to take care of the OA's. If Epap of 8 helps to bring them down, but not low enough, than try moving it up higher. The only problem you have to worry about is if you have pressure related centrals, than all bets ...

Re: Trying To Get AHI to Reasonable Level on BiPap Auto

Hi mike, I agree with Den, if you have no underling medical problems. I would set my Epap to 8, leave Ipap along, set SP to 6 and Biflex to 3 and see if that doesn't help eliminate some of the OA's. Everything else looks good.

Re: FullLife Mask - Bridge Beater

Hi spacetoast, my fix for the bridge beater is the 3M Micropore paper surgical tape, had a couple rolls left over from nasal surgery. Started using it about the third day after using the FullLife mask. It's thin and durable, provides for a good seal, easy to apply and remove, It's Hypoallergenic and...

For FullLife mask users

I have a tip I would like to pass along to you. I just discovered that following the mask fitting instruction, causes the plastic wing tips of the mask to dig into my skin when I snug up the chin and neck strap, even before snugging up these straps, the wings tips are too close to my jaw and neck. S...

FullLife cushion swap

When I got my fulllife fit pack, the medium cushion worked best for me. I now have a small and large I can't use, would like to swap for a medium, any other fulllifer's like to swap a medium cushion for a large or small, if so give me a PM?
