Re: Source of Oxygen Concentrator Reviews or Recommendations

I was renting O2 concentrators through my insurance (Invacare, Respironics Millennium and another one of which I do not remember the brand). I researched concentrators and it was apparent I could buy one and my payback would be in seven months. That is way less than insurance rent since I would requ...

I've been receiving deliveries (six so far) from Dell Computers over the past two months. DHL is the company Dell is using. Yesterday I was tracking the SPO 7500 from Med1online. At the end of the day when it did not arrive, I checked the DHL Tracking Web Site and it told me to call Customer Service...

I voted yes. I was seriously ill when I started CPAP therapy about two years ago. I had developed polycythemia due to the lack of oxygen. My health has improved slowly and significantly since starting CPAP. However, CPAP can be an irritant to the airway and that has been the case with me. I have dev...

I also obtained the nine bottle kit. I found the Creme to be the weakest of all the oils. After breathing any of them, the sense of smell desensitizes with exposure. But, as you have found, it still works. They have improved my sleep. Of the nine, I do not care for Comfort.

I have been using Nasonex for more than a year. CPAP therapy causes severe airway irritation for me and Nasonex has become a necessity for keeping the nasal passage open. The standard dose of Nasonex is two sprays per nostril, which delivers 50 mcg. The dispenser is designed for 120 sprays, which is...

That is good to hear. Polygrip strips work for me too. In fact, with the use of the strips, I find that a chin strap is no longer required, which makes sleeping much more comfortable.

When you say Somno mask, do you mean soyala? If so, see the heading
In House Comments in the link below. It leads to a sizing template.

CPAP can be an irritant to the airway. When I started CPAP, both nostrils blocked and both drained constantly at the same time. I continued raising the humidifier and found slight relief, but they never cleared. Then when I went to the pulmonary doctor (sleep doctor), on a normal appointment, and he...

I am a regular Swift 2 user who also tried to use the Bravo. With respect to the pillow sizes, they were essentially the same size. The Bravo pillows were slightly softer, meaning more flexible.

My original Swift pillow sleeve lasted 15 months. I stopped using it and switched to the Swift II. I have been using the Swift II pillow sleeve for two months thus far. In both cases, I clean the pillow sleeve daily using baby shampoo.

I am a Swift 2 user. I just returned a Bravo. I purchased the insurance offer from CPAP.com. I thought the Bravo was very good and versatile. It came very close to working for me. I liked the fact that it could be routed different ways. The headgear was comfortable and easily adjustable with velcro....

agoroman, It sounds like you are off to a good start. I have been diagnosed with severe sleep apnea with 208 AHI and 50% oxygen. My pressure is 15. I did not know at the time what 208 AHI was. Now I find it remarkable and a great motivation to not only use, but to learn and improve the CPAP therapy ...
