BTW Jeepster, Welcome to the forum! (I don't think anybody mentioned that yet. Maybe in an earlier of your 10 posts ) I have to agree with the majority of the responses though. If you knew what it was going to cost and placed the order, I don't think you have any credible complaint as long as you go...

Going naked so far, but trying to get the misses to make me a fleece cover.

...and yes, I know someone here on the boards makes them for sale, but I'm extremely cheap.

Don't scare me like that, Brian. I thought I was just starting to get to know everyone on the boards and couldn't imagine those statements coming from your mou... er... keyboard. Good one though!

Slinky, I couldn't help but think of the "grumpy old man" skits from SNL when I saw your quote above. Was it uphill both ways to school back then?

Hi Lynne,

Can you post what your equipment is? What C-flex levels have you tried? Are you using a ramp feature?

More info would be helpful.

Ciao,
Greg

Re: S8 verses REMstar Auto

[quote="hayeswildrick"]I've already asked "Bill My Insurance" to give me a price for the REMstar, but I'd really like to get specific feedback as to when/whether I should settle for a non-Auto machine. The S8 looks like a good machine, just not auto. Do I really need auto, or am I just going for bel...

CPAP software, on the other hand, is not a consumer product. It is sold with the explict warning, "Software is intended for use by Sleep Labs and DMEs. We do not provide technical support for software purchases." The conclusion I draw from this warning is that the publishers don't want to market th...

Greenham, I'm no expert (as noted by my first night post above ), but from what I've read, there could be problems with interfering with the airflow of the vents. The masks were designed and tested with unobstructed airflow from the vents. Problems mentioned involve CO2 buildup and incorrect pressur...

I'm getting ready to spend my first (at home) night on CPAP and I have a Twilight NP Aura as bdp522 suggested. I'll try and remember to post and let you know how it goes. I spent my sleep study night with an Optilife NP. I tried the Twilight on and "as promised" it blows straight up. _______________...
