Different mask, different pressure??

I've been on CPAP for a number of years, using a nasal mask. Every so often, I experiment with a new full face mask. When I do, I've noticed my AHI doubles. Is the pressure delivered so differently with a full face mask that it affects performance? Or is there something else at work here?

Daytime apnea?

Is there such a thing as having apneas while you're not sleeping? What would it be called?
I ask because I sometimes get this odd feeling in my throat; like its partially blocked.

I've been sleeping on my back and occasionally on my side. The exhaust ports are well above my pillow.

After reading all of the above, I have to wonder under what circumstance would my leak rate be below my masks vent rate. Actually, far below. My masks vent rate is around 32. My average since starting two weeks ago is around 4.

Investing in the reader is definitely in the future. Just not in the budget right now.

M Series Clock Settings

Hmm...where to start. This is my first post here, although I've been reading since October. I thank you all for the information I've gotten out of my time spent here. I've been hitting the mask for a week, with questionable results. (no need to get into that just yet) I work a four night on / four n...
