Re: Pur-Sleep Product Line Questions
Most definitely interested in the mega refill of clear!!!!! I'm still using my original difuser pad, but the paper one sounds good. You don't by any chance need empty bottles to recycle do you? I've amassing quite a few empties that I haven't discarded yet. I wouldn't mind shipping them back if you ...

Re: New user..Air going down wrong pipe
Changing from a full face mask to a nasal mask probably wouldn't make any difference. Do you know if you have GERD? That has been a BIG problem for me since starting CPAP that I pretty much ignored before. Try an OTC acid reducer for awhile and see if that helps. I'm sure some others will chime in w...

Re: Strong chemical smell in the middle of the night?
I don't suppose your humidifier ran dry during the night? Mine has done that before and the smell hangs with me several days! YUCK!

Re: Intense Dreams
I'm gonna delurk because this has been something I just don't get. At my Titration study the sleep tech told me (when he woke me up) that he'd let me sleep past the 5:00 am wakeup because I was dreaming. He said they are not allowed to wake a patient/client when they are dreaming because it is the m...

Can't tell if that is like what happens to me or not... I tell my husband my electromagentic system is a mess! I can feel "current" in my body frequently! Most often in my feet, but there are days when EVERYTHING I touch shocks me and I absolutely feel as though I'm plugged in. I even had to switch ...

Yes, the humidifier heats the water some and it does get warmer during the night. You can use the humidifier in passover mode by turning it to 0. What setting is it currently on? I've found that in the winter I get stuffed up if I have mine too low, but can't keep it quite as high in the summer with...

Just a couple of notes from my experience with BCBS MS... Triple check all info you get from them and forget what the dme says... Mine didn't have a clue about how my insurance worked even though they thought they knew. I got two completely different "off the cuff" responses to questions about cover...

I've had the same pain you described. Gas-X was my doc's recommendation. It helps a little. The term for it is (hope I spell it right) aerophagia. Mine has gotten a little better. I have only woken to the excruciating pain 4 or 5 times in the last year. From what I've read here, I think one big caus...

YES!!!! I have struggled with my spouse (and his mother) b/c of my osa! It has gotten better since I was diagnosed about a year and a half ago. My tact was basically to just ignore any snipes or "attacks" I received regarding osa. I tried arguing with them, educating them, etc. After a while they bo...

izzyb, My husband quit the Nexium and muddled through for awhile. He eventually started using Zantac otc and read that it had similar side effects so quit that. Right now he's taking an otc acidophilus tablet that seems to be helping him quite a bit. He is being treated for depression (although I th...
