When I move I sometimes get little leaks but adjust the mask throughout the night. I in no way feel claustrophobic, in fact I felt more claustrophobic wearing the nasal mask and pillows because I can only breath out of one nostril so I always felt like I was gasping for air

I just switched to a full face mask after trying a nasal mask and then nasal pillows. I have only been on CPAP for 2 1/2 weeks. I am very comfortable with the full face. I use the Mirage Ultra and I am a woman with a relatively small face and head. It is also pretty silent unless I move and get an a...

Plus, it's a lot more convenient for carving when guests show up for the traditional Thanksgiving Roast CPAP dinner.

Liam, trying to figure out which bits of his machine are the "giblets".

[quote="SleeplessInLasVegas"]Does the Ultra Mirage have the active cell like the Mirage Activa? I really like this feature. In the Activa I get almost 100% no leaks. I have not used a FF mask before and looking to try one.

[quote="Rabid1"]I've gone full-circle with my masks. I've used various nasal masks with varying degrees of success. I've tried several nasal pillow masks with zero success. A couple of weeks ago I thought, what the heck, I'll try my UMFF. I've been hooked ever since! Properly adjusted, I don't know ...

First nit on full face mask

Just switched to the Ultra Mirage FF and although I woke rather later this morning (9:30am) I liked this mask VERY much. I awoke several times through the night with my mouth open so I now know that while the nasal mask was on I was mouth breathing. I also felt like I could breath much easier. Now a...

Hi Greg, Yeah I didn't need a chin strap during sleep study but really the sleep study (in my opinion) is just a vague idea of how you really sleep. When I got home, with the heat on in my apartment and a stuffy nose I was feelign too suffocated. I'm going to try and full face tonight and pray it wo...

My machine does not have cflex capabilities. My problem isn't breathing out it's breathing in. I think a FF mask will solve this problem since I'm primarily a mouth breather

Well first I find it IMPOSSIBLE to breath through my mouth with the nasal mask on, it makes a type of vaccum for me and I phycially can't talk or breath with it on. I do not like the nasal pillows, Jenn...While I find it more comfortable than the comfort classic nasal mask, the pressure of air that ...
