Not trying to be gross but I need some help
Has anyone had any nasal reactions to CPAP that sound like my problem or is it possibly something separate that I need to address with my doctor? I ran out of distilled water and had to use some from our deep rock water cooler. The inside of my nose feels like I have something in there now. I've tri...

I haven't noticed any improvements yet. I'm still about as tired as I've always been. I've always been fairly clear headed so that hasn't changed either. My mask leaks a few times every night and I have to try and get readjusted so I don't really get any uninterrupted nights of sleep. My provider wa...

I'm about a month into my therapy and I've been having the same problems. I also have acid reflux so I get a little outside help from my pills. It's very uncomfortable to feel like there's all this air inside and not many options for getting it out. I've noticed a few positions that helped me before...

still snoring
I thought that if I wore the mask all night I wouldn't be able to snore. Was I told wrong or am I really using this thing completely wrong? I'm still just as tired as I was a month ago when I started using it so it wouldn't surprise me if I'm the problem. Thanks for any help you all can pass along!

I don't know that I mouth breathe but my lips don't close all the way so during my sleep test the air shot right out when I tried the nose mask. The mask I have is comfortable it just leaks all the time and I wake up to air blowing on my eyes or brushing my beard. I just can't seem to get it to seal...

Can't sleep, now a nose bleed?
So it's been 3 weeks of trying with the CPAP. I can sleep some nights but most of the time I'm waking up to adjust the mask again. I have the full face mask and my provider said I was putting it on wrong when I went to get fitted for a new one. She also suggested I try the small instead of the mediu...

beard and full-face mask
Has anyone (with a beard) had a problem with the seal on a full face mask? Should I switch or shave? Hopefully it was just an off night.
Thanks for any input!

First night on CPAP
Thank you everyone for all your great comments on my last questions, I really appreciate all the support. I finally got my CPAP yesterday and spent last night fighting to stay asleep. It's not usual for me to wake up so much. Is it just an adjustment period until I'm used to being forced to breathe?...

New to CPAP
I've just been diagnosed with sleep apnea but my doctor didn't really go over much of it. Can anyone out there help clear up some questions? I would really appreciate it! 1. They are bringing in a machine to be set at 8cm? I think that was the number I saw on her report. What does that mean in regar...
