Thanks, dsm... When I tried looking for it to do a price comparison online, the only one I found that even comes close was the VPAP III, which is not the same, and it was more than $3,000. Mostly the only reason I try to sell it is because it doesn't do *anyone* any good sitting in its case in my cl...

Does Anyone Need a VPAP Adapt SV?
I am seriously considering selling my machine.... its a ResMed VPAP Adapt SV, received January 28, 2007. I had surgery and am now in the normal range, so I don't need my machine anymore. It comes with new-in-package tubing, the carrying case, and everthing that came with it. I think I'd like to try ...

hpl... Did you ever figure this out? I've been on the Adapt for almost a year, but it only records compliance data. Probably the only useful info you'll get out of it is average pressure and how many hours you slept the night before. There is an updated version of the Adapt coming out that will prov...

Snooze... I have the ResMed version, the VPAP Adapt SV, and have been on it for almost a year. These machines do actually have a CPAP "mode", but if you take the machine out of ASV mode, you lose your therapy. Standard CPAP therapy doesn't work for Centrals, thus the need for the ASV machine. I'm no...

I have been told that if a mask will pass the learning circuit, you can try using it.... but you have to be careful, because my ComfortGel passed the learning circuit, but felt like I was suffocating & not getting enough air. According to the owner's manual, most ResMed masks should pass the circuit...

Well, with the Adapt, I think pretty much the only thing you can do is keep trying different masks until you find one that you like that will work. 'Course, that's a problem that goes along with just about every machine, the Adapt is just a little more finicky. Sorry I couldn't help any more.... hop...

Sorry about the FP's.... did you choose the full face because of mouth-breathing or something? Have you ever tried sleeping with a nasal mask before? I've used the Activa and the Ultra Mirage II nasal, and both of those are good, comfortable masks.... I stuck with the Ultra nasal, and so far have no...

Okay, if you run the Fisher Paykel on the Activa or Vista setting, its understandable that it would fail the learn circuit, since those are nasal masks. But did you try setting the Adapt on the Ultra setting? Try this (please bear with the simple instructions...I'm not sure how well you know your ma...

The Adapt SHOULD work (according to the user manual) with most ResMed masks (with the exception of the Swift pillows), but they specifically recommend the Ultra Mirage, Activa, and Vista. I haven't heard of anyone yet getting a nasal pillow system to work with it. I had a Respironics Comfort Gel nas...

100% Natural
Hey SleepGuy...
To me, it doesn't matter...as long as its not going to give me cancer, which is a REALLY far stretch, I know... especially if going synthetic opens up the possibility of offering scents like jasmine and patchouli, which is my absolute, all-time favorite.... I say go for it!!
