Re: Need a favor from PR S1 60 series BiPap user
Im not sure how to add an image to this post, but I have the same problem. A System One, in SleepyHead it says: System One RemStar BiPAP Auto with Bi-Flex (760P) - SleepyHead 0.9.2 with the patch. The AHI is waaaaay off, like 91.5 off. Reading the machine's LCD screen shows an AHI of 1.6. If you tel...

Re: Is this device an improved model?
Spare machine: yep, good to have if affordable. Thank you for the feedback so far. I use the data features extensively and plan to only get a machine that I can monitor my own therapy. It is nice they have gone to a simple SD card. >>Being able to distinguish a central apnea from an obstructive apne...

Re: Is this device an improved model?
I do plan to keep the existing unit. I am wanting to know if the newer models are any 'better', have their been tangible improvements in the system?
Does anyone know?

Is this device an improved model?
Hi, I've had the Philips Respironics - M Series BIPAP Auto with Bi-Flex since 2007, seems to work OK. My doctor is suggesting I get a new device, with a possible new one being a similar model: Philips Respironics - PR System One REMstar BiPAP Auto with Bi-Flex. Does anyone know if the newer model IS...

I noticed that when I put the smart card into my machine I do not get that nice little 'chirp' sound. The smart card indicator blinks with a tiny 'x' inside of a box. Does anyone know what that means? How does one go about reformatting the smart card? I've tried 'erasing' from within Encore Pro but ...

Resmed Autoscan Software FS
Hi, I am selling my Resmed AutoSan 5.7 software (works with S8 machines) and a smartcard reader to go with it (ACS 38). I am asking $140, includes shipping in the US. I am using a Respironics machine these days and no longer need this software. Maybe it can find a good home. http://www.tancemike.org...

Encore 1.6.22 problems - Any suggestions ?
Hi , I have: Encore 1.6.22, database 11.9 running on Windows XP sp2. It has been working fine for several months, up until last Sunday. I usually download the data every morning and choose to erase it when prompted. On Monday of this week I tried downloading the data and almost immediately the 'Eras...

Used Machines
I have an almost new Resmed S8 Autoset Vantage + H3i humidifier that I'd like to part with. Asking $600. Less than 30 hours use. I was moved to a BIPAP so this machine will just sit. I too am concerned about the Yahoo auctions going away. There were some great bargain on that website, but no more. S...

Selling Bravo
Hi, I tried the Bravo but it is just not working for me. Cannot get it to seal. Asking $60 + shipping. Non-smoking home. I never inhaled... oh wait, yes I did. I used it trying to get it fitted before sleep but it never worked, so I did not actually sleep a night with it. Hope it can find a good hom...

I travel to/from DIA all the time. I just find water at the other end, it is not worth the hassle to try and carry it through. You get stopped EVERY time for a CPAP swab, why add to the headache. If that is not enough there was a recent Denver news article about the 'Red Team' (TSA internal team for...

Just a quick update from results over the past couple of weeks. My plan was to: Course 1: APAP from 8.5 to 18 cm pressure - lets see how this higher range works, does it stem the OAI. Course 2: CPAP at 9 cm Course 3: CPAP at 6 cm I started with #3, thinking of working my way up to higher pressure. C...
