Yes he definately was forced
He pretty much was supposed to take the sleep study a few years ago. Then it got to the point where he was not sleeping at all, so I pretty much begged, threatened and did what ever it took to make him go. He didn't wear it at all last night and I really think he slept really well. We have a doctor...

Can you breathe at all thru the mouth with Nasal Pillows
Just wondering if my husband tried the nasal pillows if he can breathe at all thru the mouth or what happens if he did as I don't think he could stand a chin strap because of the claustophobia. This way he could watch tv as with the full mask or nasal mask he can't. Any suggestions? Darlene

First I want to thank you all for all the input and God bless you all for trying to help. How can I find the numbers etc for the masks and the machine to post them? We got the machine from the Health Care Provider
in our area. They said our insurance won't cover it until 6 months from now. It really seems a shame as the the nasal one is just a week old and used maybe 7 hours. Thanks also for the article for the claustophobia collegequeen. It is now on my favorites. Thanks again, Darlene

Thanks for the reply but
this is already his second mask in over a week. I don't care how much it would cost if it would work but I really think he needs to get used to it don't you? The first was the nasal mask so now we have 2 of them. Our insurance only paid for one and that was 80% and now we got the full face mask. He...

Help hubby is claustophobic
 My husband has had the BiPap machine for a little over a week. He has also the oxygen bled into it along with a humidifier we just got 2 days ago. He also has the full face mask as he is a mouth breather. He has CHF and legs are swollen and he has been short of breath since last July. He is s...
