I am using a saline nasal spray at night now and I haven't had a nose bleed for two days. A trace yesterday, but not full on bleed. I exchanged my mask last night for a petite and wound up only being able to stand it for a little over an hour. To get a good seal, I had to tighten it up and then the ...

I had nose bleeds as a child too so I think I might have a similar problem with veins being so close to the surface. If I get a cold, I will get nose bleeds. I have never heard of those products, but I have a call in to my Dr. and maybe he can suggest something like that. I have an appointment with ...

nose bleeds
I'm just wondering if anyone here has had a problem with nose bleeds. I have been on CPAP therapy for 10 days now and have had three nose bleeds during that time. I thought it might be because I had the humidifier turned down too low, but turning it up any higher increases the rainout. I have ordere...

I have been on my CPAP machine for one week and was able to sleep pretty much through the night from the beginning except for some rainout problems which I am still working on. You mentioned that you are having long involved dreams. I very seldom dream, almost never in color, and when I do, they are...

Jeff, I too am on TriCare and I received my APAP machine last Wednesday. My DME told me that it was covered. I asked about a co-pay, but was told I didn't need to pay. However, I have a friend that also recently was diagnosed, got a machine (don't know if it's a CPAP or APAP) and he is paying a co-p...

Chris, I am ahead of you by only a few days and I understand exactly how you feel. I too, had to return to the lab for a second not fun session, however, I didn't get my machine for another week. (Last Wednesday). I also am a stomach sleeper and I have found my first nights to be not good experience...

Another Newbie
I received my first ever CPAP machine last Wednesday so I haven't had a full week with it yet. I have a Remstar Auto M w/C-Flex and since I've never used a machine before I really don't know if it's great or not. It got pretty good reviews here tho. I am having two problems. First, I seem to be able...
